Fair enough.
Though I maintain the fact that fictional works do not need to match up with actual global statistics, especially since it's hard to measure how true they are due to the many LGBT folk that are suppressing their sexuality due to religion/culture/whatever.
I don't think that a majority needs to be LGBT, but I think having at least a few characters being LGBT would be nice.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeOr, you know, Beacon, like many high schools/academies, actually has a large LGTB community. Because seriously, I dunno if this is normal, but literally about a third of my 1,200 person high school was in that grouping.
Seriously though. If we go by Beacon's size, it looks like it could have several thousand students because of how big the place is. 3 LGTBQ(insert the other thirty letters here) people in a group of eight may seem like a lot, yes, but not really.

"because then it would give hope to people and that simply cannot be"
Non-sense, remenber what nitzche said: hope is one of the worst evil, as it prolonge the suffering of men.
But Ren being homosexual would look like a cop put about Nora instead of the simple truth, he dosent feel the same

It's more that, beyond a certain point, it becomes increasingly hard to believe that a randomly selected group of people has that many people of an LGBT orientation when the percentage in the general population is less than 5%; each additional character literally drops the probability of the arrangement being due to random chance exponentially.

It's a lot to have in a group of 8 people that are selected from the school's population at random; based on the prevalence of LGBT in the general human population, there's about a 1/3 chance that there would be one LGBT individual in the sample; those aren't unreasonably low odds, and neither is the 1/9 you get if there's two, but it cross the 95% confidence threshold when you add a third, which is traditionally the point at which you conclude the arrangement is not due to chance. Now, you can and will get strange results like this occasionally when doing sampling (which is why you run multiple samples), so it's nothing to get outraged over, just something that makes me raise my eyebrow.
That said, I appreciate that most people don't think of representation in terms of demography/statistics; I do because, for me, it feels like the only way to be remotely objective about this sort of thing; theoretically, Positive Discrimination should be looked down upon just as much as its reverse.

It would be one of those details that really tells you what Cinder's all about.

Studies are also kind of bull, because some people don't realize their sexuality until later in life. Hell, I'm 21 and I only realized I was bisexual last summer.
No, the real ridiculous thing would be Everyone Is Bi

Uni catHonestly though, you know what I'm excited about?
Weiss is in Atlas. Which means one thing: We get to see the rest of Team FNKI
Okay so I've been checking around the internet after everyone has gone through the 5 stages of episode 12 grief and I noticed Jaune is getting hit with flak again. What did he do (or not do) this time?

How'd she die the first five times? I don't think decapitating a shadow clone counts, does it?

I'm thinking that the Dragon is the reason everyone in Mountain Glenn died. He started out small, but ate his way up through the ranks, and went into sleep mode after he nommed everyone. Otherwise, I'm curious to know what the "subterranean" Grimm look like. Are they like the surface Grimm, or are they a collection of cave-dwellers?
I agree with that... Oh no, Lancaster wont happen... She'll have a OT3 with Crescent Rose and Crocea Mors.

It's kinda like how a sizable portion of Avatar The Last Airbender fans hated Aang's guts for daring to get between their beloved Zutara, except this time it's White Rose instead.
Cowards jumped ship. I stayed with Arkos and became a fishwoman (PD: I'm a dude)
My backup ship was Nuts and dolts....it could still happen
And yes, the only plausible ship would be Ruby and CR all the way
