Also, is it weird that I feel that World Collide
is... oddly fitting for RWBY?
Do we fight to hold our heads up high, And beat the drum to what we love? Risk the fall, oh we have felt it all, come crashing down from far above. Stars arising, countless worlds colliding, only one will take it all. Can we bring to fall the giants, Can we make the final call?
They could have made him go out in a more spectacular way. Just my opinion.
Hey, what if Pyrrha gets the Goku treatment?
For starters, Goku was supposed to stay dead but his Popularity brought him back to the main character.
Also, Roman speech is oddly profetic of Pyrrha's death

Dragonball was a series wherein Death Is Cheap, in RWBY, Anyone Can Die as far as we can tell.

You know, in the aftermath of volume 3, both Pyrrha and Torchwick's voice actors essentially confirmed their characters are dead, but there's been nothing from Penny's VA. That bodes well for Penny, though I have a feeling Penny mk. II won't have any ontological connection to the original.
I'm getting the sense that all of the "legends that are actually true" things we're going to see will eventually tie together in some way shape or form. At least I hope so.

V3's season finale was much better than the last one in terms of establishing lasting consequences for our characters or just moving the story along. Though Ruby's Deus Ex Machina powerup was a pretty anti-climatic way of ending the Battle of Beacon, even though it wasn't a total fix.
Also there are still a bunch of lingering questions or things that I would liked to have been explained, like what happened to Mercury and Emerald? They completely disappeared during the Battle and we have nothing from them, especially the greater roles they both played in causing these events in the first place. Ozpin and Cinder's whereabouts are also iffy since last we saw Ozpin it looked like he was doing okay against Cinder until she flew away, likewise Cinder also just disappeared during Ruby's bright white light. I would have also liked to see the more immediate reactions of JNR to Pyrrha's death, could have had some quality Jaune scenes. Also how did the CCT get destroyed? Though I'm pretty sure we will get answers to those, it would have been nice to address them now instead of letting us mull over it during the hiatus.
I also think that Pyrrha's untimely demise was also premature, there still was so much more they could have done with her character, like exploring her selfless hero complex or having her learn how to accept help from others instead of letting her do everything on her own and getting killed by it. That being said I haven't felt this much denial over a character death in a long time. I'll miss Pyrrha and if they find some way to have her appear again, that would be great.
Overall this volume still had some rough spots in the beginning like filler fights that weren't that great in terms of animation or choreography, or how some characters were again kinda pointless (looking at you SSSN, again). But the later half was a much needed improvement in establishing the villains as legitimate threats, moving the story forward and changing up the status quo, even though it kinda swung too hard on the cerebus syndrome.
You know, I saw Ruby's 11th-Hour Superpower but I don;t remember seeing Cinder get frozen when I saw the episode (Must be the whole Fade to White thing)
Hey everyone, I just finished a marathon of all 3 RWBY seasons.
The voice acting and character models are awesome, and I can't believe they got Yuri Lowenthal and Vic Mignogna for season 3. The characters themselves are very quirky and distinctive too. The story isn't super-engaging until episode 8 of season 1, but after that point the plotting improves with each newer episode. Of course, I didn't get into the series until yesterday, so maybe I just wasn't able to feel any Arc Fatigue due to all the content I could absorb in such a short time.
Well, if The Stinger is anything to go with, Schnees might not be the only ones with a hereditary Semblance; Raven might be able to do the same thing Qrow did.
There surely was an emphasis on that raven outside Yang's window. She might try to pay her kid a visit while she's at her emotionally weakest.

@Melon: The Arc Fatigue isn't particularly bad with RWBY, though the death of its creator was a major speedbump. According to someone here, they're supposedly looking to start volume 4 some time in August.
