Nora = Thor
Ren = Hua Mulan
M&K will fake us out by having Nora get poisoned by snake. Fortunately Ren knows what plants are used to make an antidote.

Especially at age 17 (probably 18 by now), there's no reason for him to be hung up on Pyrrha forever. Life moves on when somebody dies, and so do the people they leave behind.
Mostly Word of God at this point. Then again, out of all of the main characters, he's the least developed.

All of JNPR are based off of famous heroes who disguised themselves as the opposite gender.

She/TheyWell, whatever the case may be, JNPR is probably safe from additional deaths for the next few volumes if not the remainder of the series. SSSN on the other hand is from Haven, and doesn't have the Plot Armor that comes with being part of the main cast.
Given who Nora and Ren are based off of (and how underdeveloped they are), I think they're safe for now. Though I have no idea what happens to Thor during Ragnarok other than he dies, but I think Nora's got some life in her for a while. Don't know much about Mulan because I've never seen it.
Jaune will probably die fighting Cinder (because of how Joan of Arc was killed).
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Salem will try to make Ren her um... What's the male version of a concubine? Nora will pull a Big Damn Heroes moment by... crossdressing to get Ren back. Somehow. And they take down Salem's pet, the Midgard King Taijitsu Orochi.

If Ren and Nora die, it will probably be during the grand finale (Ragnarok) in a Romeo and Juliet scenario after Nora dies from the poison of a monstrous snake. However, unlike Pyrrha, they don't have many death flags, at least not yet.
Jaune on the other hand; I suspect he's going to get burned horrifically but live, if only because he's the male lead and there's nobody really capable of taking his place in that regard. As with other characters, including team RWBY, all bets are presumed off in the finale.

She's dead. But not forgotten.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyMaybe JNPR end up getting idolized as the "real heroes" by Team RWBY at the end of the story?
Speaking of which, Ruby is based off of Red Riding Hood, Weiss is supposed to be Snow White or something (I'm guessing), and Blake is...Beauty and the Beast, I think? Who's Yang supposed to be?
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?
Goldilocks. The fact that she's introduced smacking someone around who's named "Black Bear" kind of gives that away
That's because the original Fairy Tales were fucking brutal.
I'd also like to point out that Ragnarok only appeared in Norse Myth after the Christianization of Scandinavia. Soooo.....

Goldilocks.Note that both Goldilocks and Red Riding hood die in their stories' original versions, so I wouldn't use a character's counterpart as a basis for judging whether they're going to live or die.
And so were the original mythologies from which Achilles and Thor came from.
I doubt it.
