You have to hit your 30s before you can become a Wizard, if I remember the chart correctly.
Now watch as Jaune turns into either Gendoh Ikari, Big Boss, or Raiden.
Yes. If we meet Pyrrha's mother I hope she's voiced by Kathleen Zeulch.

PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyAfter watching the finale and catching up on the thread (well, some of it, it seems to be moving faster than I can read it ATM) - man, gotta love dem overreactions to anything even slightly dark or dramatic occurring in this show. Why do people assume that the death rate and/or "darkness" of a story can only ever escalate at a constant pace? Do people really think that season 4 is going to be offing 3 characters an episode or something? Ever see one of those peaks-and-troughs graphs for story structure?
Aparently not, because all it takes is a few dramatic deaths and a pretty textbook first-arc villain victory and people are running around screaming about Game of Thrones and Madoka Magica.
Anyway, it looks like next volume might be spreading its plot threads over multiple characters investigating multiple places/separate leads, which I always love. Good times ahead!
Or at first she appears in a spirit form as she transitions and only caboose can see her. He then tries to help her and when other people ask he says "Carolina told me too" confusing everyone including Carolina. Then she gains a physical form and then Jaune follows her there to rescue her and fights a not quite dead Felix
All I see I conquerLet's just say Pyrrha met an end similar to Undyne the Undying. A heroine giving her all against the villain. (Undyne wasn't as fortunate on the aftermath tho)
Man, so Ozpin is Remnant's Sans? Where are my puns?
Uni catBut seriously, I want a gif of Ozpin super speed-pummelling Cinder with Jo Jo visual effects. I'll commision it, I'm serious.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.My predictions/hopes for the next volume:
- Detective funtimes with RNJR in Haven, uncovering Cinder's backstory, This'll probably be the main plot-advancing thread, at least at first.
- Weiss will have to deal with her dad in Atlas, who'll probably assume that now she's under his wing again she'll easily slot back into his plans for her. She'll hopefully have help from Ironwood and Winter, though, who'll be organising to retake Vale.
- Yang will probably spend a few episodes building up enough emotional momentum to get rolling. After that, she'll head to Atlas to get a robot arm, and to interact some more with Weiss. Alternatively, she might go find Raven. It's hard to predict what that would involve, because we know so little about her situation.
- Blake and Glynda and probably some others, fighting a covert resistance in grimm/WF-held Vale. It pains me to say it, but this thread might be the one that gets the least amount of screen-time at first, until midway through the season, when they get the com tower back up and the scattered cast get a desperate plea for help from Blake.
Wanna know something super heartwarming about the finale? Think back to Nora's freakout at the start of volume 3. Jaune's family must've welcomed Nora and Ren into their home.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyAre you implying Jaune won't succeed Ozpin as the Old Man?
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/They...I'm not really sure how to react to this season. I'm not too concerned about Penny because robot and almost certainly going to be coming back for Volume 4 or 5. Bit concerned that Torchwick might be dead dead, since there was no stinger with him, but hoping he'll still come back, because he was just entertaining and styling and yeah.
As for Pyrrha? ...I'm not sure. Like I acknowledge this is probably supposed to be a deader then dead situation, and seeing her go all out with her magnetism was great. But, I'm hmm Pyrrha was never my favorite character but I did like her, but really before shit started hitting the fan there wasn't a single character I disliked. (Excepting Cardin but he is an intentional hatesink so he doesn't really count)
Honestly, still not sure how I feel about Pyrrha getting killed off.
Anyways, kind of amusing they called back to that scene of Cardin bullying Jaune by having Pyrrha do the same thing to him. Albeit under significantly different circumstances.
Though with Ruby's Silver Eyes mojo apparently being some other myth then the Maiden's and Qrow mentioning there's tons of legends and stuff in Remmnant with some being true and some being not, I can't help but wonder if anyone else might be fulfilling a myth or legend in RWBY or JNR.
Though with the Maiden's and Silver Eyes being hereditary things of sorts, maybe any other legends that turn out to be true end up being more of Legendary Items. Like Remnant's equivalent of Excalibur?
As for RWBY breaking up, honestly I wouldn't be surprised if they joined back up halfway through Volume 4 and I severely doubt they'll still be scattered going into Volume 5.
Click Click Boom BoomThe split of Team RWBY could be plot relevant.
- We know there's something going on with Atlas. Penny was created for a specific purpose, and suddenly wanted to leave Atlas and live at Beacon with Ruby. Why? Weiss is now in the perfect position to start uncovering secrets about the Schnee family, Dust, and Penny. She's also best placed to get Yang an artificial replacement limb should the time come when Yang is ready for such a thing (ignoring Ironwood's relationship to Qrow, that is).
- Blake is likely to have isolated herself because of what Adam did to Yang and the reason why. He's vowed to destroy Blake by destroying what she holds dear (which seems to be Salem's approach to Ozpin). She isolates herself from them to protect them, and work on becoming stronger so she can confront Adam and figure out the White Fang's end-game. There's a chance she may end up teaming up with Team SSSN, not simply because Sun has a thing for her, but because, in The Journey to the West, the Monkey King did help to defeat the Bull King.
- Let's face it, RNJR is walking into danger and probably hell. The one thing I see galvanising Yang is the thought that Ruby needs her to protect or save her. Finding out that someone they love is walking to their death is the storyteller's traditional method of pulling a character out of a massive funk and galvanising them to charge off to the rescue. When the time comes, Yang will need to be the one to pull her allies together and lead the charge to find Ruby.
So, while the team is separated, they're separated in locations and ways that will drive the plot. We know there's something going on with Atlas. We know there's something going on with the Schnee Company. We know there's something going on with Penny. We know there's something going on with the White Fang. And we know that the White Fang - like Cinder - are connected to Mistral, which is exactly where Ruby's group is going. Meanwhile, Yang's the character who retains the link to Vale.

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.![]()
This, exactly. The team splitting up like this is probably one of the best things that could have happened to the story. We get to see the 4 heroines interacting with either new characters or characters they don't get much time opposite normally, in new challenging situations, and we get to see the plot increase in scope.
Plus, dramatic reunion scenes. What's not to like?

I DONT CARE WHAT YOU SAID, TROCHWICK IS ALIVE!!!!!
Actually, I feel good about his death now, Maybe is because all this grimdark make me happy, or because I have enjoy the denial and hurt feeling but Roman is dead....well, such is fiction, let hope Neo may a sweet payback for this.
"Let's just say Pyrrha met an end similar to Undyne the Undying. A heroine giving her all against the villain. (Undyne wasn't as fortunate on the aftermath tho)"
Which it make me ask: battle against a true hero or megalovania to Cinder vs Phyrra?

"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"

Now i remember that joke that Wizards are usually virgins before getting their powers.
What if that the reason they killed Pyrrha is to make Jaune the virgin Wizard?
