Huh. Mercury, from what I can tell, has silver eyes as well...
Improving as an author, one video at a time.@unknowing No. I will not tolerate Nora being broken. Or Monty's aAuthor Avatar being killed.
If that happens, I leave.
@unknowing: Or Renora could go out like Romeo and Juliet, considering Thor died from the poison of a monstrous snake and Hua Mulan posioned herself, leaving Jaune as the Fifth Ranger for the restored team RWBY. I certainly hope that's not going to happen however.
@Perfection: Both Mercury and Ruby have what I'd call Grey Eyes, calling them silver just feels necessarily flowery.

"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"You know, I gotta hand it to Miles and Kerry. I hadn't been this emotionally affected by a work of fiction in some time. And I'd initially written off RWBY as just a shitty cliche wannabe-anime.
Listening to Shine and Dream Come True is just painful now.

Let's be fair, it was very much a Dancing Bear during it's first season; all of volume 1 really feels more like a pilot than a proper series.
@Fergard: IMHO, (and I predicted the exact circumstances of Penny's death and Pyrrha's, so I'm apparently a wizard) the remainder of JNPR is safe from death for the next few volumes if not the entire series; they'll probably join the trauma conga line that WBY is experiencing, but killing them off, particularly in a manner similar to their mythical counterpart, would make fans apathetic about their fates after the second death.

Nora dies fighting a Taijitu that poisoned Ren with its venom, but she managed to kill it before succumbing to her wounds and venom. The two manage to stay alive long enough to boop each other one last time. One kiss later, they took each others' breath away.
... I'm sorry. It just came to me. Now the ache is worse why did I do this to myself T_T
A stranger is like the shadows. It is so common to the world everyone will just ignore them. You know, I just realized that the 11th-Hour Superpower Ruby has is basically a Chekovs Gun that took literally three volumes to fire
Everyone's talking about how they want Cinder to suffer, and I find it mildly amusing because I'm personally hoping she gets offed in the biggest anticlimax ever. Maybe it's because I'm only hearing about most of this stuff secondhand at this point, but I think I'm honestly getting apathetic about the story now. I hope actually watching things changes my mind a bit.
I really think Pyrrha deserved better from the story, just like Penny. Last episode seemed interesting because it appeared to be taking her character arc in a new direction- putting even more responsibility and pressure on her, then having her not only fail utterly, but live to regret it. You could get some decent mileage out of that, and hopefully make her more than Jaune's perfect waifu, which is pretty much all she was built up to be in the first two volumes. Then the finale happens, and from the sound of things she's getting Stuffed into the Fridge because angst and also Cinder is a bad person.
At least people say Taiyang is coming. I'd like to see Taiyang. It'd be cool to get some insight into the Xiao Long family and maybe why they fell apart in the end.
but HOW?![]()

thats right, release the darkness and despair, is the only way know.....
![]()
Yeah....it takes so long it make be a deus ex machina
But we already have that type of angst with Yang, we dont need more of that, just more guilt around, Penny death pretty much open a intersting subplot about Atlas that is better to watch non-ultron around

"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Yeah, this show really needs the Noble Demon Anti-Villain. Seriously.

Given that it's something that happens fairly early in the overall plot, it's pretty much acceptable to me; it's something comparable in buildup to Eren's titanshifter powers in Attack On Titan; it shows up around a third of the way through the first season, and was foreshadowed solely in the first episode of the anime.
I could see Salem going in that direction; all her talk about how hope gives humanity power and whatnot gives me the impression she sees humanity (or human civilization) as a sort of Worthy Opponent.

Uh. No. The way she talks does not make her seem ANYWHERE CLOSE to a Noble Demon Anti-Villain

Yeah, I seriously doubt it, but right now her personality feels too similar to Cinder's; that said, Noble Demon can encompass things like Villainous Valor, Evil Virtues, and whatnot.

I have never agreed with the concept of"You can't revive the dead cause it'll ruin the Death scene in retrospect"
A good death scene will stand on its own, the scene isn't about Phyrra dying... Its Phyrra answering the question she asked and showing how much of a monster Cinder is despite her claims to the contrary.
If they choose to bring Penny and Phyrra back " and don't give me the BUT THEY SAID" You really think they are gonna spoil something a volume or 2 down the line? of course THEY ARE GONNA TELL YOU THEY'RE DEAD
Praise be to the absolute QueenI, for one, think we won't be getting any more character deaths (on the good guys' side, at least) for the next volume. They were really damn impactful this time around, if they overuse them they'll risk them losing their luster.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.

I think Ren would die, if only to make Nora misrable and sink another ship(yes, I want to sunk another ship) but Jaune...meh.
