Anyway, now that the non-sponsors are getting caught up, anyone want to start taking guess at whose going to bite it next?
My predictions for season 4 deaths; team RNJR meets up with CFVY on the road to Haven, and they taken on the role in the plot formerly occupied by JNPR, with particular emphasis on development for Velvet and Yatsuhashi. We have some nice wacky adventures as our heroes make their way towards Haven. Then all of the sudden, things go to shit, and Velvet gets headchomped by Monty's favorite Grimm he alluded to appearing in volume 4. This severely demoralizes the surviving members of the team, not to mention RNJR, and the fight goes rather poorly, forcing the group to run. Yatuhashi does not make it, and is dragged away to his presumed death by the creature.
I'm thinking Vol 4 will have RNJR as the A-plot, while WBY's individual stories take up the B-plot, and then it will end with a reunion, whether it's just two of WBY, all of WBY, or full blown RWBY reunion.

not bad, but your idea is too similar to Mami's death and i want some originality (maybe instead of killing velvet she gets an ear chomped?
Question, do you think Pyrrha character was wasted given her death? I personally don't think so but i would have love to see her interact with her family. Or address her "celebrity" status

Now as far as Pyrrha goes, well, her death was somewhat inevitable given she was the quasi-Decoy Protagonist of the series; were the show not called RWBY, I'd say the show pulled a Subversion of Decoy Protagonist, with Ruby falling by the wayside in favor of Pyrrha in this volume, only for Pyrrha to die at the hands of The Dragon.
On a tangent, I'm not sure you're right that JNR are going to bite it; once the second one dies in the same fashion as their mythological counterpart, it's going to be blatantly obvious that the other two are doomed, and the audience will become apathetic. I could however see them being wounded in a manner that resembles their counterpart; ie Jaune gets horrifically burned, but lives.
There is a running theory that some part of Pyrrha Aura is in Jaune. Maybe she is inside him? (Totally not in denial)
