Watch SymphogearI got an idea or six about what to expect in future volumes. It's a bit of a long read, so be ready to sit down for a minute.
Hmm...Okay, I get the whole "traveling to Haven" thing. Cinder's team was claimed to have come from Haven, but it seems weird that none of the officials from the tournament would even suspect otherwise...or even any of Haven's students, for that matter. I think Cinder's team had someone alter the student database to help pass them off as students of Haven for the tournament. Cinder's team couldn't have done that by itself without causing too much noise.
If there really was someone on the inside, they'll probably be interrogated about Cinder. The most I can see them getting is that they were threatened into doing it and that they showed off some weird power while doing so. Not sure if Team RNJR will find the guy/girl, though. Cinder's team will need to tie up loose ends to keep the heat off, and if they did have someone on the inside, that's a definite loose end they're gonna want to deal with quickly; luckily, they won't be able to make any immediate moves after the mess they pulled at Vale. An encounter with Cinder's group seems likely for team RNJR in Haven. This whole trip to Haven might also be a good time for Ruby to do some required reading on the story of the Four Maidens.
In brief, Mistral/Haven is a good place to start searching because there might've been a guy on the inside that assisted in the infiltration, but the search better be finished quick because, if there is a guy on the inside, that guy's a loose end Cinder's crew will want to tie up. A trip to Haven will be a good time to learn about the four maidens and...whatever new power Ruby showed off at the end of Volume 3. Weiss' family could also have some hot tips on the subject (when you got cash, power, and half a brain, you get connections, and those get you intel that can keep you out of trouble or help solve a problem before it becomes one). If things go right, the boys up in Atlas could probably get Yang a new arm as well.
These are all just my thoughts on what's to come. Hope you enjoyed the read.
@Inky Jay, Yang explains that the broadcast cut out after people saw the Atlesian soldiers turn on the citizens, I'm pretty sure Cinder didn't actually let herself be seen on TV.
Sex-negative outrage culture and the Illuminati are realSo what are people's thoughts on Salem? She has a cool design, voiced by Jen Taylor, and hanging out in a suitably evil location. She also has a massive hate-on for Ozpin for some reason.
Also checking out the reddit thread and there is so much denial there. People really want Phyrra to still be around. How come no Torchwick love?
Given that Pyrrha was not only shot through the heart (which killed Amber), but shot through the heel, taking into consideration that she's a genderbent Achilles, I think its safer to say that she's Deader than Dead
Also I think that most people just assume that the based hatman is still alive somehow
Sex-negative outrage culture and the Illuminati are real@More Than Bored Even still, everyone's going to be on pins and needles after that little mess in Beacon, and Cinder is likely recovering after Ruby's little outburst, so she can't afford to make any rash or sudden moves without risking being caught by the people who know who they're looking for, like Qrow or anyone else part of Ozpin's inner circle that was clued in on what the culprits looked like. The Queen is running low on safe moves right now thanks to an unforeseen promotion on the enemy's side, and now she needs to bank on the other lesser pieces until she's free to move again with impunity.
Okay, I couldn't resist seeing the spoilers...
I think this might be the last episode I watch for a while. This all sounds like it's too depressing for my taste. Pyrrha is gone, Roman is gone, Yang's lost her arm, Cinder is nigh unstoppable outside Deus Ex Freezing Powers and RWBY is splitting up. No, just no.

- This song is extremely sad in hindsight
From my Wiki comment:
You know what sucks, there is no communication and Pyrrha's family may not know that their daughter is dead and Team JRNR are going to Haven which is in Mistal aka where Pyrrha grew up...anyone else think they are going to have Jaune tell Pyrrha's parents the news.

So to be a truly sadistic troper; out of the characters who died or have their fates up in the air, what "I'm not dead" fate would be the cruelest for them? For example:
- Phyrra was only teleported by the weird cinder power...when she recombines she's going to wind up a brainwashed Salem-puppet half-Grimm abomination. Bonus monster points if it looks like Jaune gets through to her only to get a beatdown.
- Roman survives getting eaten by a Grimm, but gets arrested by Ironwood immeditely afterwards and doesn't show up until the very last episode.
- Penny gets mounted on Mercury's wall as a trophy. Occassionally Merc plugs the power in just to have somebody else to talk to.
- Because of how Cinder stole the first half of her power Amber is fully concious within Cinder's brain, but unable to do anything.
- Cinder is still active, but because of Ruby's powers she is frozen in the exact pose she had when the light engulfed her. She has to have Emerald cart her around and only has one-on-one meetings to Emerald can make everybody think she's not permamently paralysed.
- Neo was swallowed by the Dragon but survived and makes a home inside it's throat while she waits for Roman to come find her.
- Summer Rose is still alive, she just got sick of taking after two kids and ran away with Raven to join the irresponsible mother's club.
Oh I am a monster for thinking of these ideas.

You forgot Cinder's virus infects Ironwood's cyborg half (via his scroll) and now he can be remotely controlled to do things the dark side needs him to - unless he replaces the parts, of course, but that is no longer possible since those capable of manufacturing the new set get assassinated.

Damnit, now I'm thinking about Half his body doing something evil while his other half tries to stop it. Like flipping off people while he's having an important conversation. Oh and I forgot Ozpin as well. He's taken to Salem's domain and has to listen to her monologues without interrupting, and she only has cheap coffee.
So what does everyone think Mistral will be like? Some people are going with something along the lines of the Ancient Greek city-states, but IMHO, it would be a lot more fitting and much less cliched for it to draw inspiration from a much later period of Graeco-Roman history, is the Byzantine Empire.
Particularly if Mistral ends up falling to the Grimm.

Madoka has the main character basically become a deity of hope. Dark Souls doesn't.
