The Survey Corps would have a hell of an easier time, I think, while Team RWBY would be able to take care of the Titans easily enough.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I still insist that a Titan Grimm should be the Knave of Hearts. Or Nightmare.

A corpse should be left well enough alone...I'm sorry, but does this
◊ look like a Grimm to you?

Like I said, megafauna are underrepresented as fantasy monsters. There's Skyrim's mammoths, Sinbad And The Eye Of The Tiger has a smilodon as the final boss, and I've seen fanart of Lord of the Rings that imagines the Nazgul's airsteeds as pterasaurs, and I think the oliphaunts are based on mammoths or other elephant ancestors.
Giant Grimm, or Giant Grimm? As in, supersized, or based off of giants? Because they're a pretty ubiquitous fairy tale monster as well. Giants, trolls, ogres, whatever you want to call them.

Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatI have doubts about Survey Corps vs Grimm. Not because Grimm are stronger than Titans (most of them are definitely not) but because Corps are not trained fighting enemies their size. Their gear also is designed for fighting (and evading) large, lumbering monsters, not small and agile. Larger Grimm like nevermore and Deathstalker have very thick hide = bad for Corps brittle swords. And althought numerous Titans don't show traits of pack hunters. Grimm do providing yet another "not trained for this".
It's also hard to judge streinght of Grimm compared to normal humans because this far we've seen them fighting (and failing) against superpowered characters. Titans kill normal humans.
Bit off topic: finally watched Attack on Titan (all hail Annie's magnificent nose!). At which chapter I should pick up manga?
Chapter 32 would be a good start.
Also, the Colossal Titan would give the Hunters hard time, not only because of its height, but it's ability to shoot out massively hot steam from its body, which, given Hunters' tendency for melee attack, can kind of ruin their days.
In addition, the Armored Titan. It can shrug off canons, but given RWBY's technology level, I think there's plenty of weapons that are stronger (Penny's Blade Beam, for once). But when he starts RUNNING...
And then there is the Female Titan. She's fast, agile, and worst of all, intelligent. Compared to the Colossal and Armored Titans, though, this one would be easier. I mean, I'm pretty sure Ruby can pull of something like this:
Blake would probably be the first one in Team RWBY to go down. Blake can't fight, yo.
Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing.![]()
Actually, due to its sheer height, all it needs is just move around by bits and he can pretty much dodge most of the distanced attacks.
It's not that Blake "hasn't gotten a stand out moment". She had her moments to fight...in none of which she showed capacity to fight. Slicing up mooks and kill-stealing, I wouldn't really count that a proof of your combat skill, at least not in this series. Now, if she was never in any fight, I wouldn't say that she can't fight. We never really saw Ozpin, Emerald, the rest of Team SSSN and CFVY, etc fighting either, and it would be really rash to say that they can't fight.
But Blake. She has been given moments to fight, where she proved...less than useful, really.
In the Nevermore fight, all she was good for was her weapon. Also, there was utter beatdown she received from Roman, and compared that to Sun's fight with him; he was actually driving him back.

Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing. As far as I see it, regular titans would become cannon fodder when crossed over with many, many settings with superpowered heroes. But "special" titans... yeah, I can see them as threat even against powerfull enemies.
But seriously, Annie's nose is great. It's rare to see anime character with such a big ass snorter who stil looks nice. And it even makes her look taller. (Or it's just in my head?)
Speaking of height, I have no problem with Yatsuhashi, the member of Team CFVY, being around 7 feet/210cm.
But Neo being 149cm? For some reason, I have a real hard time accepting that.
Also, Ozpin being 200cm and Jaune actually being 185cm, while the members of Team RWBY has more reasonable heights? Hmm....
Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing.Well, it's established that they live on a Death World; maybe people are just taller in the RWBY-verse?
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerLike I said, Team RWBY has reasonable (at least, to our 21st century developed nations' standards) heights, but the other character, especially the males, seem to have absurdly tall height.
.....Not that it helps them any.
Oh, and people from Australia, a real life Death World, aren't any taller than people from the rest of the worlds.

Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing.Much taller.
Also, Glynda is really tall. I mean, 190cm +? Even if you take out the heels, that's still around 180cm, which is huge for women. But then again, look at me, trying to apply our standards to Remnant. That's not going to cut it.
Anyhow, we will finally get a new episode this week.
Now, I think it will be about new characters.
We will either see the rest of Team CFVY or SSSN, or we will get to see more of Emerald (I think Mercury got relatively descent amount of screentime by now) or Neo.
We will have to see Team CFVY at some point of this volume, what with being part of the opening at all. Then again, Adam was in the last volume's opening, but he didn't show up in that volume. Then again, it was only in a silhouette.
Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing.Yatsuhashi could just pick up Neo and put her in his purse.
...new ship
People from Australia haven't had a lot of time to evolve to suit their environment, with the exception of Australian Aborigines.
Plus, the optimum adaptations for a Death World depend on the nature of the Death World in question. Now, tall people have the advantage of longer legs ie. running away from monsters more easily. Smaller size means more options for hiding places though. Real World humans are built for endurance (human endurance is insane compared to other animals) rather than speed, but RWBY characters are fast and Pyrrha was able to keep away from the deathstalker.
@Ninety - I'd ship that.
Neo...I'm really curious about her, but less about her abilities, more about her character. Would she be quiet or talkative (if it's the latter, her not talking nuch in her appearance can he just chalked up to her not having much time to talk or they haven't found the suitable voice actress just yet)? Jerkish or kind (well, as in Affably Evil way)?
Damn it, don't leave us hanging, Monty!
Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing.

Smilodon, Megaterium, those evil boar things... yeah, megafauna needs a resurgence.
