In terms of the Salem Faction page, I guess the biggest question is how we want to manage spoilers for Volume 8. Mercury's promotion happens in Volume 8, so that would be a spoiler if we're concerned about that. (Likewise for an Emerald entry on the Allies page.)

But if we're not concerned about that, I think it works. It definitely shows how Cinder is losing her followers at a rapid pace.

That might work for Hazel, but it's not what I was going for with Emerald and Oscar.

I could see it. I actually thought in V2 that Jaune and Neptune could get along really well if they had the opportunity. Weiss's reaction might be amusing — the two guys who showed an interest in her end up with each other instead. Neptune would have to stop hitting on the ladies though. I don't think Jaune would like that any more than Weiss did.

Neptune would need to learn how to dance, however.

What's the ship name for Jaune and Neptune? Blue Knight? Flood Knight? Lightning Rod? Sparc?

Does Cinder have any followers left at this point?

Well, my original thought back in V2 was friendship since I'm not a shipper.

But, since the subject came up, I figure I may as well join in the conversation.

Besides. I always ask the ship name question. I like finding out if I've gone through the entire human repertoire of groans and grimaces yet.

It's okay, ship names for this series are always a mystery to me. Some are obvious, but some I'm absolutely confused like who is that??

So Hiatus Week 1 was Fruit People and Arryn being confused by Bloconut.

Week 2 is Bi The Way Jaune.

What do you think will be the Week 3 insanity?

According to the Ship Chart, Jaune x Neptune is called Noah's Arc. Alternate options are Floaties and BlueJ.

But yeah, apparently it's Noah's Arc. Again with the ship names that confuse me.

Kdin is also apparently fully enjoying May/Atlas Defectors at the moment. (And tormenting people by eating food with weird utensils. Pizza with Chopsticks, Bagels with a spoon, jello with chopsticks just to annoy Eddy.)

Jaune/Ren/Nora feels like the most obvious One True Threesome this side of Girl Genius.

I can't imagine Nora sharing ren with anyone, she already have some trust issue a this point.

And the only good thing about Neptune as boyfriend is that he isn't Weiss

On the subject of Noahs ark, I was thinking awhile back about how it's odd the implications of the story aren't explored often. About how there was an entirely different Iteration of humanity before our own.

Then I thought 'Oh that's where rwby got it from'

(I actually heard stuff about Enoch claiming the Watchers taught the first humanity Sorcery so that's also a thing)

Turns out the hype was a bit premature...

Ah well, it's not much of a stretch to code Jaune as something other than a heterosexual person. Still, I don't think we should be expecting Jaune to pair up with anyone for the rest of the show. We have enough romance subplots already and I don't think Jaune could bring anything new or unique to the table. On top of that, RT keeps on harping on his lost leonore angle, and I don't think they're too willing to depart with it.

If Nora would share Ren at all, the #1 candidate would be Jaune, anyways, lol

I was about to say 'Dear God'. Then I realised that's actually a pun given this ship name. Then I found a new groan and grimace.

Perhaps I'll stick with Lightning Rod. I like the idea of sparks flying between someone who wears armour and someone who uses electricity. That's not a recipe for disaster at all.

And this is why the RWBY fandom has such a terrible reputation. It's pretty obvious from that clip what the context is.

I, too, am confused.

I was peeking at some Hero Hei videos and decided I no longer wish to follow what the army of fan critics think. This place and reddit are a lot more pleasant.

I suppose there's some validity to what they're talking about, but I can't shake the feeling that they make a living off of stirring as much controversy and vitriol about this show as possible.

Because I was wonder one thing: one coment monty said long time ago said ruby need to stop to depend so heavly of Cresent rose and the idea have being somewhat follow time and time again: how in V2 she is so weak without cresent rose that a mook can beat her or her traing montage in volume 5, I wonder if this will be part of it.

Perhaps the reason for Blake and Rubies talk this volume was setting up them being he teammates actually together next Volume.

Maybe they all go to differant references too, one goes to Wonderland, another goes too Narnia, other goes to the Dreamlands.
