[up][up] Dig it.

Anyway, episode 2. I like Jaune. Very relatable. Also, I believe the same amount of effort and resources goes into animating Yang's boobs as the fight scenes.

I call it a web animation, because that's exactly what it is. Or a western web animation.

"Western anime" sounds completely meaningless because anime either means "ANY animation" if you're using it in Japanese or "Japanese animation" if you're using is as a loan word in English. It's got nothing to do with style.

Actually, Anime is totally a description of style nowadays. Example: "Man, that Rwby show is anime as hell".

Kinda what I was getting at. There are some things you just don't see in Western works. Like girls with oversized weapons and fancy/striperiffic outfits killing monsters while teabagging the laws of physics.

Well, the whole animesque/big-eyes-small-mouth style is a thing itself.

I find it funny that anime started off by imitating Western animation.

[up][up][up][up] Just because people are using it that way doesn't mean it's using it properly.

I just think it's inaccurate to call something the same thing as what it takes inspiration from.

Is anime-inspired okay with you?

Well yeah, I'm not saying it's not inspired by it or that people shouldn't describe it as such.

I also find it funny when people argue about terms that aren't English and in their original language don't mean the same thing they're usually used for in English.

So about that story board, the silhouette of that man, is he Weiss's father? Seems pretty likely.

Random question.

Which RWBY characters are most likely to be capable of Sherlock Scan?

Actually, I want to see at least one Sherlock Holmes parody moment/episode. [lol]

Lie Ren and Ozpin seem like good choices.

Although, I'd love for some member of CRDL to secretly be some sort of analytical genius because why not.

You know, I do wonder how she figured it out. Does she have a X-Ray vision or something? That or maybe she saw subtle twitches of Blake's ear.
