The aliens possessing our mechs sounds like a pretty neat idea. Maybe I'll put it in when the plot starts rolling big time.
The modes I listed here: • Stealth • Underwater • Desert • Space • Berserk • Ultimate
I'd believe to be optional for every mech unless you guys object. If you guys have ideas for any other mecha modes, then feel free to list them out.
Berserk Mode is very animalistic at least towards its use for Mexa-One and Nexus-One. While like Ultimate Mode it is very powerful, it's still aesthetically different. I can't really describe all that well.

Nah, my idea is more along the lines of a gundamjack and/or a capture operation.
Shameless Self-promotion ho!Made a post for Gerald Long, and I'll make a proper character format for him later.
Well, since this is a team that may have to face a number of events shouldn't there be Mecha Armor for the Desert/Space/Underwater modes at least?

"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."Which is why I listed those modes.
And yeah the Gundamjack idea is fine with me. I'll implement it when the plot requires it.
I'll post up a reply to Long in a second.
My basic idea on Desert mode was that the mechs would require a mode to survive such dry and hot conditions that it could crumble under like that of a Desert.

Hope you don't mind, but since Gerald is a senior staff member and the head mecha engineer I presume he has higher rank than Nolan. By the way, should I post his character here or in the sigh-ups? Also, do you mind the random bit of worldbuilding? I just figured "Lethal Monday burritos" was funny and not-serious despite being actual things.

"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."I'm fine with Gerald being Nolan's superior.
You could post his sign up in either thread. He'll still be accepted anyway.
Some world building sounds ok to me. "lethal monday burritos" does sound very amusing.

- Name: Gerald Long
- Age: 42
- Gender: Male
- Appearance: Makes
him all the more demented, though his hair is white and has blue eyes.
- Personality: When around his son and direct subordinates, does not even try to hide his malicious haughty nature. Though he wears a thin mask of kindness which shatters quickly when being annoyed by others. Is mainly secretive and only interacts with direct subordinates and his children.
- History: Currently N/A
- Mecha Name: N/A, currently working on a line of super Mecha from research data
- Mecha Appearance: N/A
I'll let you decide, maybe he was there but just unable to do anything because his weapons were too destructive. Namely the Plasma Cannon and the laser Bazooka might have turned the Falchion into scrap metal.

Shameless Self-promotion ho!Speaking of, when will Nolan inform the other pilots that Hiroko will be piloting Falchion and call for Akio to meet with Gerald? I think Gerald wanted Nolan to inform everyone but Akio.
Plus, the EM Ps would of revealed Beth and Allie's robotic nature to the rest of the team. So there's that, how you going to deal with that one?

"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."JR, do you think Victin's characters are purely machines coated in flesh or do you think there's some degree of biological life? Because if they're purely robots, they should be affected by the EM Ps. How do you think the team would react that there's been robots among them?
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."Well, I was going to have them full robots. I don't really see SERVE collecting dead limbs of alien to use as building material, though I can see them studying it. I was going to have Alphonse bursting in the infirmary to see if everyone is okay, then noticing his sister isn't there. He then asks what happened and someone tells him about the EM Ps and that they left his sister in there.
Hm... She probably is unconscious, but I'm not really sure if an EMP would fry a robot's circuits or not. She would simply need to upload her data again, but giving the "implications" she could have a cyborg brain (though that falls under Fridge Horror). But I'm not sure which one is the best, any thoughts?
Apparently the only machine with a true A.I. so far is Rizen, and Falchion has a bio-organic system so it doesn't count. So they probably do have cyborg brains, though I figure Beth's is far more impersonal?
JR, how many pages are you shooting for? I have this idea for a machine-hijacking Eldritchian that irrevocably warps said machines into techno-organic things sculpted in its image.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."And to make it even more terrifying, it's about the size of a school bus and gets leaps around like a jumping spider.

Shameless Self-promotion ho!

Actually, I think you should just go with Strigon's. his sounds frigging awesome. Though may I make a suggestion for that particular mosnter?
