Strangely enough, I also have my own theories about Magnus. (which may or may not be related at all with his writer's own vision)
- He's a dimensional traveler from a world which was attacked by the Eldritchians in the past and it either: 1.- Fell to them. 2.- Barely managed to repel them. Now he's on our dimension to try to stop whatever happened in his homeworld from happening again.
- He's some sort of Angel Unaware who has been sent to Earth to document and behold mankind's inevitable (???) extinction before the Eldritchian's might.
- He's a Fifth Dimensional being in the style of Mister Mxyzptlk
from the Superman's mythos. He's also Willfully Weak, and his interest in the Human vs. Eldritchian war stems mostly from amusement, and maybe some sort of "social experiment"
Of course, those are just theories worthy of the Wild Mass Guessing label... Whatever Magnus is up to, only Omega knows for sure.

"It's better to burn out... THAN TO FADE AWAY!"...Who runs on Spiral Energy and is actually Haruhi in disguise? And the final plot twist is that the story was All Just a Dream. (imagined by Shinji Ikari, nonetheless!)
"It's better to burn out... THAN TO FADE AWAY!"You just named three animes I'd like to watch soon.
Perhaps this RP is an excuse to complain about the fact I want to watch anime now
Really, Pacific Rim just got me really excited and impressed with the idea of giant mechs. That I decided to make an RP out of it.
I just wish it wasn't so much like EVA, thank god SERVE's plans are far more simplistic.
The room is secure, they were talking privately in the corner.
As for how Dan is based off of me, for starters he tries to be friendly with most people, isnt a paragon of socializing, is a massive nerd even if he can't make geeky references on the spot, although I haven't mentioned this yet he has aspergers etc.
Do I need to spell everything out for you? Cause I'm getting tired of explaining every post I make to you, do you have to nitpick at it?
As for the main plot of this ep? I dunno which Eldritchian(s) should we fight next?

Against the Trinity, of course! At least, that was the plan, wasn't it?
In any case, my vote (and opinion) remains the same a in said post.
Edit:
I've always been a big fan of giant robot anime, (the first one I've ever watched was Lightspeed Electroid Albegas
) so I'm not exaggerating when I say that it's the movie I've been waiting all my live.
And talking about giant robot anime, I've got some suggestions about series that should be on your radar, because they're friggin' amazing and an almost required view for anyone even remotely interested in Humongous Mecha.
- GunBuster - My all time favorite anime bar none! (which features my all time favorite character: Noriko Takaya! I love that girl... I wish to be as brave and kind as her) It's a heartwarming and awe-inspring story about courage, sacrifice, love and hope. The ending ALWAYS manages to bring tears to my eyes because... Well, I won't ruin the surprise, because it's something that must be seen to be fully appreciated.
- DieBuster - Gunbuster's sequel... Which under no circumstance must be seen before the original, if possible, because only after watching the 1st one one can truly understand why it's a perfect love letter about its predessesor. The 4th episode always brings chills to my spine because of how jaw-dropping it is.
- GaoGaiGar - The (original) Anti-Evangelion! In my humble opinion, the most perfect Super Robot Reconstruction ever created. Its conclusion, the Gao Gai Gar FINAL OVAs are made of pure awesome, and also surprisingly dark as far as old-school style Super Robot anime goes.
- Shin Getter Robo: Armageddon - Yeah, I've already mentioned this one several times, (I'll continue doing so... Sorry...) but that's because of how mind-blowingly awesome it is. Not much else needs to be said about it.

"It's better to burn out... THAN TO FADE AWAY!"JR, can I send you a PM detailing why I have issues with your writing?
Either way, I'm cool with the Trinity next but I thought Bastion-Sigma didn't arrive yet? Though how are we doing to divide everyone up and who hates which Trinity?
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."...However, can we delay the fight a little bit? At least, to give enough time for Faith and Celeste to met for the first time? Otherwise, it might take a little bit for that to happen... And if they manage to "make click" during their first meeting, that might greatly improve their performance during this upcoming battle.
It's a selfish request I know, but I'd be quite grateful if it could be granted.
"It's better to burn out... THAN TO FADE AWAY!"V, from two posts with me going on about stuff and your review of the RP/OOC noticed any new tropes to add? Sorry for bothering or not helping, and I'm currently writing my PM to JR so I shouldn't waste too much time. Either way, Bastion's entrance is going to awesome.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."I still need to read ze whole "discussion thread", but progress is being made! Also, I still need to reply to you last PM; don't worry, I haven't forgotten about it. You can always contact me through it if you want to comment/discuss anything personally.
...And the same invitation goes for everybody else! I'm always around TV-Tropes, so it's quite easy to find me around here.
"It's better to burn out... THAN TO FADE AWAY!"As the creator of the trinity... I'll let KK and JC handle the fight, provided that they make the trio's defeat a near-disaster for our team.

Shameless Self-promotion ho!<Insert maniacal, demented laughter> YESSSS! I was so hoping to be able to command the Eldritchian battles from now-on. I promise I can make this a nightmare for everyone involved.

"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."Make sure the Monsters will psychologically torture the pilots like so:
Eins: Likes to use stealth and ambush tactics and picks off pilots one-by-one like a certain Assassin.
Zwei: Full-on sadistic sniper, deliberately misses fatal shots to force the others to come to the aid of the injured and immobilized.
Drei: Has a funny habit of attacking civilians, non-combatants and those too weak to retaliate.
Shameless Self-promotion ho!-Logs in-

"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousAfter all, (I infer) we're all here for the same reason: We're a group of people that likes having fun by writing about stuff what make us feel good. (Even if that involves torturing characters in increasingly disturbing and elaborated ways... Dang! We're all evil basterds!) So, if we can't have fun while doing so, that kind defeats the point of the whole exercise, doesn't it?

"It's better to burn out... THAN TO FADE AWAY!"

Yeah but you know what I mean?
