The Humongous Mecha RP (Discussion)

The problem is here that if were gonna do PVP, we'd have to depend on the idea that the player would be ready to reply. In this case Emil's player Strigon would have to reply, since it's his character.

I however being the GM could reply back with it, but I don't know if Strigon would be comfortable with that.

So the only person that noticed Faith was going to bash Emil with a flaming hammer was Akio? Not even Emil or the twins noticed the giant cyborg mecha about to smash a hammer into Emil? Seriously? And why do Dan and Summer think they're the team leaders?

Sorry about that. I was meaning to keep the plot moving and I'll edit some stuff out.

And Dan and Summer aren't being team leaders. I just optioned to have them go after Emil and the others.

Okay, for does this Boss Fight thing work?

It's basically to show how we all work as a team.

In the end we'll destroy it but we all still don't get along very well.

Largely due to a clash of egos, firepower, violence and peaceful solutions.

No, I meant how do Boss Fight work here? I don't want to attack it and then be told I was supposed to wait for you to confirm the hit instead.

I'm not quite getting what you mean here.

All of you can attack the monster. The combined attacks from all of you is what destroys it.

I'll make a post after enough of you all attack to confirm that.

I have a number of named attacks for Faith and description.

• Solaris Collapse Alpha: Generating a massive sphere of fire, she rams it into an enemy's body and forcefully has it drill through their body in tendrils.

• Solaris Collapse Beta: Forming three spheres of fire, they're used to crush enemy limbs but function fine as impact damage.

• Solaris Collapse Omega: Preferably done at 85% or higher, she uses up all remaining fuel to form one gigantic fireball which she sends crashing down from above.

• Solaris Cleave: Forming a massive sword and followed up by rocketing towards an enemy, its meant for slicing through them.

• Inferno Cleave Storm: Follow up to Solaris Cleave, she breaks down the sword and converts it into a barrage of small blades.

I'll come up with more on the Solaris Collapse line later.

I'll probably come up with some new weapons for the Mexa-One and Nexus-One afterwards.

Well, Alphonse is supposed to be smart and creative, so I accidentally came up with a plan. (By 'accidentally' I mean I wasn't planning to try to make up a plan, but it simply came to me)

Would anyone wanna hear it? It would involve JR (both chars), Kkutwar, Strigon and myself (both chars). Maybe Zara from Plumbum, so everyone else could have a part on the plan.

Okay, this is the plan: Alphonse, Bethany and Emil go over the monster, because since he's taller than he's wide, an up-down shot would hurt it more. Bethany probably won't be able to fly up there, so Dan or Summer would have to help her. Meanwhile Faith creates a ring of fire around the beast and Dan and Summer, standing at opposite sides, try to keep it still. Alphonse and Bethany blast up the Eldritchian from above and after it's damaged enough Emil fires his laser bazooka, and the shot hopefully pierces it all the way through.

For everyone else to be a part of it... Well, Zara fires her Wave Motion Gun to open a hole at the creature, and everyone else attacks that hole.

But I will only be able to make a post in three hours, if not tomorrow :/

That's an interesting plan. I'd go for it?

Sure, if you tell me how effective Solaris Collapse Beta was. How damaged is the beast from the recent attacks, and for your post counting the damage you could have one of your characters shout "This isn't working at all! We need to coordinate our attacks!"

All I can say now is the attacks including the Solaris Collapse Beta have weakened the Eldritchian (I think that should be the official name for all monsters now) and that Victin's plan should be carried out once we all see that the creature is weak.

If Alphonse asked, would he get some info on the mechs from SERVE? Or would he need to hack it something? I was thinking about splitting my post in two so my characters can keep moving together with the plot, and I think I have the time to write a short one.

Alright. Sad to see you go. Anyone up to take Eduard's place or should we take him off the team once the battle is done?

SERVE would be nice enough to give him some info on the mechs, it just depends on what kind of information.

As long as it's remembered that the Charged Particle Cannon is Awesome, but Impractical incarnate with it's half-mimute charge time... and nobody but her amd Zach know about ot right now.

Well, JR, I don't think neither of them are going to get off the Dragon. In fact, Alphonse could go greet Nolan if there wasn't a "potentially" dangerous monster about to attack the city. And if Bethany wasn't so Ax-Crazy. But since this is the case, or Nolan will greet the nothingness or you'd have to retcon that. Though I find the first more amusing, so I'll start writing my post as if this one happened.

How much will you allow us to "control" enemies in Boss Fights? Because I want to know if I can just have Faith collapse the fire circle (Solaris Collapse Gamma) now.
