The Humongous Mecha RP (Discussion)

Uumm the suit my characters were gonna wear wasn't gonna be Vapor Wear that's for sure.

As for being too risqué well yeah it kinda is but how do the others feel about it

I don't see a problem with it myself, though I wonder what Akio would have for a piloting suit now.

Eh, Faith doesn't get a lot of social interaction anyways. I thought his character wasn't in the area yet though. She'll probably be confused and disturbed if she looks too long.

A reaction from the guys in the control room/tower spotting Emil's mech would be nice GM.

I'll work on it.

Real life just has me a bit busy.

So did you just send everyone to their mechas? I assume the latest players will be joining in later?

Look everyone was in discussions and talking to each other for a page and a half because I was hoping the other players would join in. But I need to keep the plot moving and the other players can still join in later.

I just need to make sure this doesn't drag on so much.

I already have my second char typed up. I only need to explain three (or was it two) of her weapons and I'll post it. Got carried away here, sorry.

No that's fine. Take your time. The real plot of this RP hasn't truly started anyway.

Did everyone read the spoilers in my post? I supposed everyone would have But I want to know if I have to keep without spoiling it. It'd be kinda hard not to. (I'm writing my first post ATM, and if you all are riding your mechas, say that there's one on the hangar which nobody rode, because that one is Bethany's)

I'm joking around of course I just wanted to see your reaction. Besides your spoilers aren't as important as What I have planned the plot for this RP on the bigger scale of things.

Don't you think its worth inter-working the development of Androids/Gynoids into the overall plot as at least one of the questionably moral actions of S.E.R.V.E? I can imagine his characters had their A.I. systems developed from studying deceased space monsters, or even have organic neuro processors derived from said monsters. Speaking of which, since Alphonse's appearance is quite girly do people often confuse "him" for a girl?

They started more like, anti-mecha pilots, kinda like you fighting the War Fortress. Of course, I knew that wasn't the goal of the RP, thus I changed them. But I "kept" the Mecha overriding powers, so they could easily take control of a rogue mecha pilot and/or control more than one mechas at the same time. That was the idea I had, but I could change it for plot reasons of course.

And yes, I wanted Alphonse to be bishonen and Bethany to be tomboy-ish, but I couldn't find a tomboy pic which looked good enough. Asides from mistaking their genders, since she is taller and all people may mistake her for the older simbling ;)

Yeah I guess I could work making androids as part of SERVE's actions.

In other news, I watched a bunch of EVA Abridged videos for laughs and interest and it just occurs to me how similar the name SERVE is to NERV.

God I'm late on that.

So is someone going to submit an action post? I would, but I rather wait to see what others have in mind.

So, how does Pv P work here? My post ends with Faith having readied an attack, so Emil can easily avoid/counter/etc it.
