Sure, why not. I hope a book titled The Narrow Road to the Interior isn't too obvious.
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home.I assume I am still blacklisted?

Nope, not by him, so it's not that obvious. Though Hagakure is.
Hmmmm... alright then. Will have something if I'm feeling creative enough. Inbetween animus logia and the Humongous Mech RP, I might be a little tapped out imagination wise for a while T_T
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialDefinitely interested.
Would Achilles be too.. Well, maybe the only way to die is through one ankle is a little OP, but I don't really know, apart from good skills in combat, which one assumes he learns over time to become as great as his legend, he's an ordinary person.
1.5 imperial gallons of tea were consumed during the writing of this post- Name: Natalie Bonney
- Gender: Female
- Age: 16
- Reincarnation Of: Napoleon Bonaparte
- Appearance: "I wear this because it's fantastic."
◊
- Personality: Many people would see Natalie as a small, pretty girl. She would appear to be, at first glance, almost doll-like. This impression is rapidly shattered. Natalie has a very short temper and a propensity to argue with others over the slightest disagreement. She tends to buy junk food to feed herself, and tends to avoid others. Really, she has a mostly grumpy nature. However, she can be very sweet towards others if they're very close to her. Natalie is fearful around strangers, universally unfriendly towards almost everyone, and rather socially inept for the most part.
- History: Natalie is from a fairly rich family. However, she lives alone in an apartment since her parents live overseas. Otherwise, her life isn't particularly astounding aside from some popularity in school in spite of her harsh temper.
- Abilities: Natalie is a fairly good singer, and harbors intelligence underneath her anti-social attitude. However, she is the antithesis of a good cook.
- Artifact: Le Cannon de la Grande Armée, a small model cannon, blue with an elegant golden pattern down its sides. Le Cannon de la Grande Armée is capable of expanding and becoming a full-sized military cannon with a bottomless supply of cannonballs. Simply by crying "Fire!" Natalie can make the cannon fire itself, but it must load a new cannonball each time it does so, which is not an immediate process.

"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Would being the Reincarnation of Jack the Ripper be banned? It just came to mind all of a sudden, and I have three different characters I could use for that Reincarnation. I'll have to do some more studying of historical/legendary figures, but are there any general things that'll be banned?

"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."- Name: Jeff Tompkins
- Gender: Male
- Age: 17
- Reincarnation Of: The 3rd president of the United States, Thomas Jefferson.
- Appearance: Hi! Are you new here? Mind if I help you with that?
◊
- Personality: The most social and friendly person you will meet, he prefers to keep out of fights. Definitely Lawful Good whenever his friends are in danger.
- History: Student council president, Jeff is the most popular kid at Sanctuary High. If you're his friend, you're guaranteed safe from any matter of bullies. Nobody would dare get on his bad side. He's had quite the history, and has recently come out of the closet as bi, (just felt I needed to say that) which hasn't affected his popularity. Nothing else is noteworthy.
- Abilities: Not absurdly strong, he excels in strategy. Prefers to stay out of fights, but can use some basic martial arts. He can lay a few traps, like the boy scouts tought.
- Artifact: A small statue of the white house, it doesn't do much.
Alright, let's see...
I honestly didn't think anyone would try to sign up as a political figure, and it's been explained to me that Jefferson didn't really do much aside from politics, so... I don't think he works, honestly. He's not exactly what I was looking for in terms of figures used for a character's previous life. To be fair, most of the presidents as I understand them (my knowledge of American political history isn't exactly great, so if I'm making a mistake then I apologise) probably wouldn't fit. The fact that his artifact doesn't actually do anything kind of makes that clear, unfortunately. Artifacts are supposed to grant powers/abilities based upon the character's previous life, after all.
...Also, I'm really not keen on you stating that he's the most popular kid in school like that. I'd be fine with you saying he was popular if there was some reasoning for it, but just outright stating that he's the most popular like that is... Hurm, it just kind of feels off to me, sorry.
So to be honest, I can't really accept this character. Sorry.
If we choose a Reincarnation, should we have read everything on the page we link? I was going to choose Vlad the Impaler, but I tend to get bored when reading these things. I can easily do it, but do I have to know everything on the linked page if anything at all?
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."I'll allow some artistic license (in case you can't tell, this was originally very loosely based on Fate Stay Night, after all
), but it would help if you had at least a semi-decent knowledge of the figure you're using. Doesn't need to be too in-depth, though.

Will it be you or the players that decide the dreams and how far the two lives are bonded? Because I was figuring I could put up my character now and finish reading the page later. What kind of Artifact and powers do you think someone with Vlad the Impaler should have?
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."- Name: Gina Yori
- Gender: Female
- Age: 15
- Reincarnation Of: Guan Yu
- Appearance: Gina is perpetually displeased
.
- Personality: A girl who seems perpetually angry at something, even when she has nothing to be angry at. Or maybe her face froze in a scowl one day. Either way, she tends to keep to herself at school, and beats up bullies outside of it, seeing herself as a dealer of justice protecting the weak. If you want her to adopt a new facial expression, either tell the world's most unfunny joke to get her laughing, or propose to her.
- History: For the last six months or so, she's walked the streets, combating bullies and thugs, with surprising success. Probably because she hasn't had to fight 20+ opponents at once. Aside from that, she's always been a loner, rarely interacting with others at school.
- Abilities: Can defend herself very well against most thugs or untrained assailants, is a surprisingly good cook, and much better at arcade games than she really needs to be.
- Artifact: Green Dragon
Crescent Blade
◊, the guandao said to be wielded by the epic-bearded man himself. At first, the guandao merely raises her strength to the point she can properly wield it.

For historical/legendary figures with multiple choice past, do we just pick or create one and flesh it out? Because having my character be Mordred sounds fun, and I have two that could work as that.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."

An idea I tried before, and thought I should try again since I kinda liked the idea. Hopefully it'll work out this time. Basically, all of the PCs will be the reincarnations of figures from history, legend and folklore, reborn into the modern age and all inhabiting the same town for some unknown reason. Why this has happened, and what will become of it, is up to the players to find out and decide.
The setting of this RP shall be the fictional English town of Sanctuary, a sleepy coastal town with a reputation for having nothing interesting ever happen there. Recently, several young people have been having strange dreams and visions, vague memories of past lives. These would normally be casually dismissed, but some of these people have found that they are able to summon an artifact representing these past lives, something embodying their former exploits.
Most of the reincarnated figures will only have a vague knowledge of who they're supposed to be, as the dreams aren't usually very clear. However, some of them may be able to make a better guess thanks to their artifact (for example, if someone's artifact is a sword baring the inscription "Whosoever pulleth out this sword of this stone is rightwise king born of England", they can probably figure out who they're the reincarnation of), although some of them may be more vague and misleading than others. To begin with, the characters will not have full access to the knowledge and memories of their past self except under exceptional circumstances (which should be discussed with the GM beforehand; anyone who posts a sign-up where the character has full access to this knowledge will be instantly vetoed).
In addition, the following characters shall be instantly vetoed, so don't try signing up as them: Jesus, Mohammed, and possibly other vastly important religious figures (for what should be blindingly obvious reasons), anyone who lived during the 20th century (with a few exceptions that should be discussed beforehand; before anyone gets the smart idea to try and sign up as him, Hitler is NOT one of these exceptions), Merlin and Morgan le Fay (for... Reasons. Plot reasons. >.> Well, either that or the fact that neither are dead, since Merlin's stuck in a tree and Morgan went to Avalon and all). I might be willing to allow people to sign up as a non-reincarnated character if their legend involves immortality, but this will be on a case by case basis and should be discussed with the GM beforehand. You may use as many characters for this RP as you wish, but try not to take on anything more than you think you can handle. Please note that the figure your character is reincarnated from must be human, or at least partially human. They cannot be an animal, monster or god, nor can any part of their artifact/powers eventually lead them to attaining godhood.
I am putting a pre-emptive claim on the reincarnation of King Arthur, but aside from that, go nuts!
