ITS ME, BILL! BILL GATES!
As long as this flower is in my heart. My Strength will flow without end.Genuinely an excellent film that may just become one of my all-time favorites, but how did I manage to walk into two separate IP threads that were related to it?
"It was the best of times, it was the BLURST of times?"Far from perfect, but I liked it as much as I remember and has some genuinely awesome moments
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallHumanist Vampire Seeking Consenting Suicidal Person
A funny Canadian film that explore themes like suicide and sexuality throw the eyes of a teenage vampire and a teenage suicide...
And then one look why Kieran Culkin deserved an Oscar with the inestable Benji Kaplan, a very good film that allow us to see the problems between 2 cousins during a trip to Poland and its Holocaust places...
Thunderbolts* (2025). Overall, I loved it — I wasn't fully sure what to expect, but I was excited for it just from hearing the premise alone. Also was excited to see a lot of The Bus Came Back relating to the titular group, since Ghost in particular hasn't been in anything for a hot minute (Ant-Man and the Wasp was 7 years ago?!), though I was a bit disappointed that (spoilers ahead) Taskmaster was suddenly killed off so early into the movie. Part of me does feel like there's a chance they'll bring her back (or at least have someone else be the new Taskmaster), but I'm not sure... still, I feel a bit like They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character.
I was already expecting some degree of exploring mental health due to the whole team having some kind of Dark and Troubled Past, but I really like how the film handled it. I thought it continued the existing characters' stories really well, and Bob has already become one of my new favorites.
Cold turkey's getting stale. Tonight I'm eating crow.Gotta be honest, it's not my cup of tea.
Farha. It was a difficult watch and I can't recommended it to anyone with a weak heart and stomach but if you want to learn about Palestinian history, you can very much watch it.
She/Her | Currently cleaning: N/AA Minecraft Movie. It was really fun — I feel that they managed to stay faithful to the original game (with some Pragmatic Adaptation) while also being a Self-Parody, and I feel that the campiness made it even better.
I've heard a sequel is being worked on, and I can see that, especially given just how much you can do in Minecraft (and The Stinger seemed to be hinting at a Sequel Hook).
Cold turkey's getting stale. Tonight I'm eating crow.Jojo Rabbit. Surprisingly gut wrenching and amazing. Both a great and horrible watch for mother's day for things I won't spoil.
She/Her | Currently cleaning: N/AAnd for the other half of my Discord server's weekend streams, we watched Speed Racer (2008). I think this movie is utterly unfathomable to me. It's good, but trying to make any sense of it seems unlikely to succeed.
SO SOFTLY A SUPERGOD DIESI just finished watching Vengeance Most Fowl. It’s great. ![]()
Even if a part of it did feel like a repeat of The Wrong Trousers.
Black Widow (2021). I'd been wanting to rewatch it ever since seeing Thunderbolts* (2025) recently, and I almost forgot just how good it was.
Cold turkey's getting stale. Tonight I'm eating crow.Final Destination 5. Ending was amazing.
Vertigo. It was pretty interesting to immediately recognize the Trope Maker and Trope Namer of the Vertigo Effect.
I'm much too lazy to come up with a caption.Belle (2021). i’ve only seen it twice and it still chokes me up every time
hit me up on MSN messenger! ;D

Joshua and the Promised Land
I got curious about it after I saw another troper using an avatar from it. It was... certainly a thing.
Tbh I never really hated his minigames in the original, but they did make them better in the remake.
