Especially anniversary specials w/ Kakuranger being the oldest at a 30-year anniversary special w/ the entire cast coming back down to a guest child actor reprising his character's adult self.
And speaking of Saban's mistreatment of its cast and crew, weren't there stories on how bad things got, especially the homophobic treatment David Yost got?
Set! Avenge! "Henshin." Black General! Bujin Sword! Ready, Fight! From the relatively little we've heard Toei does work the cast and crew pretty hard but the atmosphere does seem to be better for the most part (there have been a couple of incidents). Or maybe that's just Japanese work culture discouraging people from complaining, IDK.
I think there's also the case of how actors think about their toku roles. While PR definitely has some, Sentai and Rider seem to have a lot more actors who remain enthusiastic about their respective toku roles. They even manage to get back some actors who have become more famous/successful since (although certainly not all of them).
Part of it is that Sentai and Rider are institutions in Japan - practically everyone born from the late 60s onward has a core memory of at least one of the shows. A common question asked of Rider actors in pre-release promo material is what Rider show they watched growing up as a kid.
PR is at best yet another kids' IP in a sea of kids' IPs in the US.

So if the rumor that Akira Kamiya being the changer's voice is true, holy shit.
Anyway yeah there's already so many leaked stuff on the show. Apparently reveal near the end of the month.

Boonboomger continues to be an odd show. Episode 38: A Yarucar focus episode, in which we discover there's apparently a whole planet of lil car guys. Also the monsters make Bon Jovi references. Later on, Speedor from Go-Onger just turns up for what is clearly advertising toys but is given very little in-universe explanation.
Also, Kingohger IN SPACE. A very random special which does feel like it was probably influenced by what actors they could get. Riki/Kingranger from Ohranger is here, because his ranger form has "king" in the name. Prince is back again, but also Utchy, Doggie Kruger and Tsurugi Kyuranger, who don't actually transform (well, neither do most of the Kingohgers). And they all go to an illegal space fight club.
A bit late to the party, but I watched Kingohger In Space. All things considered, it was a cute little special. They put a lot of effort into the choreography and it shows. Kinda feels like the tournament and cameo aspects were directly at odds, though.
Also Gira absolutely threw that fight with Prince. I don't care what the show says.

"Doctor, I did say look for the Spymaster. Or should I say Spy....Master?"It probably would have to be designed and written more delicately in order to avoid having stereotypically offensive depictions.
Speaking of w/c, before Kiramager became the Super Sentai team around the Tokyo Olympics, I assumed the Super Sentai around that time would've been sports themed to tie in to the Olympics. While it didn't come into pass, I still have the concept floating in my head w/ Red being either basketball or soccer, Green being track and field-themed, Pink being men's gymnastics, Yellow being wrestling and Blue being swimming w/ Yellow and Blue being the female Rangers. Yellow's story arc being that she wants to transition to Pro Wrestling but her traditionalist father would frown upon her for joining something "fake" while Blue would've been heavily inspired by Liveman's Blue Dolphin w/ Mori Megumi even reprising her role in a guest-starring episode. And the Power Rangers version would have kept the sports theme and the specifics would be Blue being African-American, Yellow secretly moonlighting as a Luchadora (w/ not even the Rangers knowing) and the male Pink Ranger being a trans man.

Mostly because Toei are somehow far better at treating their actors than Saban, and in Disney's case half of their actors moved on to bigger, more prestigious projects.
Though the brief Hasbro era wasn't bad at getting PR alums back. Cosmic Fury alone had Billy and Heckyl come back. The big difference is that basically if the cast wants it in Sentai they get a post-series special, since that seems to be the main determinant on whether a Sentai team gets a post-series special or not.
