Flash pulled up his goggles. "Okay, I thought you were just a shirtless guy who loved eating sandwiches, but I guess even sandwich eating shirtless guys have their little quirks." He said, before patting Thor in the back. As the Gordanian that was thrown by She-Hulk flew towards the door, the Flash runned after him, getting into the ship to make sure the door wouldn't be closed. Once he got to his destination, he immediately looked around for any immediate threats...

"Well, damn, I didn't get to use any of my racial slurs. Guess I'll have to wing it!" Thor cursed before grabbing the Heroic Duo, "Can you two fight? I have a job for you!" Then, stuffing each of them under one arm, he swung Mjolnir and took off toward the door, flying pass She-Hulk and the Flash, although that last one was because he already reached the door and was standing relatively still.

Thor simply burst in through, back handing any Gordonians while flinging down the corridor, "I need you both to subdue or evict any red-robed Gordonians from the room I'm about to toss you in. Those are the engineers and it will be an engine room. It is utterly paramount you take and hold just one engine room!"

"HEY! LET US GO YOU BIG LUG!!" Cynthia shouted the moment Thor grabbed them.

"No wait, he may be onto something!" Harvey reassured her.

Moments later they were inside the ship, and Thor told them their mission.

"OK we can do that wait what do you mean you'll toss UUSSSS!!!"

"When I tell you, close your ears!" Thor said before landing deftly in front of a big red door, pivoting on the spot, swinging a nearly full circle and striking the door with Mjolnir, detonating a thunderbolt against.

Gordonians do not use sight quite like humans. They see shapes and movement and only certain colors stand out and generally use it for very close up vision and fine fiddly details but they're generally not as sensitive or reliant on it as humans. Their hearing is about the same, but their smell is simply superb, comparatively. They use smell to get around, and their ships, which are normally regarded as stinky by others species, are filled with rich scents that Gordonians use like one might paint colored lines on the wall to guide them around.

"NOW!"

Once Thor made a hole through the door for the duo, he deposited them roughly on their feet, stuck his hand in and did the flash bang trick, except a little different. There was a little less flash and a little more stinking ozone filling the room, but just as much bang. He personally tailored that trick to play hell on Gordonian senses.

"Alright, GET IN THERE!" Then Thor charged down the hall, deeper into the ship, leaving the Duo to proceed.

"I AM ASGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARD!!!!!"

Cynthia and Harvey stared at each other (with their featureless faces) in confusion about Thor's behavior, but only for a moment. At least he hadn't tossed them, they both thought, or they might've fallen to pieces- literally!

In any case, they quickly charged into the engine room. Inside were the red-robbed engineers, still reeling as expected, and they charged at them. The fact the heroes' plastic bodies lacked warmth or living body smells made it even easier to approach the confused reptile-men. Harvey jumped at one and landed on its back, choking it from behind, while the smaller (but surprisingly stronger) Cynthia literally picked up the other one and slammed it against a metallic wall.

Alarms whooped throughout the ship as all bedlam had broken loose. Gordanians raced this way and that, to try and contain any more of the mess.

Outside the ship, the original group had by now been virtually wiped out. Now, an additional platoon of soldiers came filing out. They opened fire with their staffs, firing blasts of energy to subdue Starfire.

In the boiler room, the engineers stood little chance on their own. Most cowered behind pipes and large objects. Then came reinforcements, as a handful of winged soldiers glided into the room, firing down on the Hero Duo.

In the main hangar, the gordanian soldiers converged. The main group (plus Lobo) found a huge amount of solders gathering around every wall, and across the floor, aiming their staffs directly at the heroes. The place was already packed with soldiers, and all were crowding around the group.

"Surrender yourselves quietly!" barked one of the front soldiers, "You are surrounded!"

"That simplifies things," said Lobo dryly. Reaching into his pouches, he pulled out a large number of small black objects. "Have some frag grenades!" he cried, and flung them toward the corridor leading to the cockpit. The soldiers scrambled to get out the way, and the explosions that followed cleared more space.

Thor charged for the center and upper portion of the ship, towards the bridge. Warrior landed in his way, warriors got smacked in the face with hammers. But these first few were not ship security, they were ground troops, not trained for fighting in tight corridors which Thor gleefully abused. Then he started running into the security teams, trained for on-board combat and they gave him trouble.

The living dummies were struck by the staff beams and broke apart immediately. Their heads, arms, torsos and legs rolled apart around the floor and then stood still.

(Note: the Hero Duo isn't dead- they are playing possum. They can reassemble at will. They are hoping the flyers will be fooled into landing, and then their individual body parts will start attacking them.)

When Wolverine entered the ship, he immediately noticed the god awful smell. He managed to get used to it quickly though, and realized the single horrific smell was actually several slightly less foul smells coagulating together. He figured these Gordanians mostly depended on their smell. It explains how they were able make the phoney so quickly.

Thus Wolverine traveled deeper into the ship, following a random scent.....

She-Hulk grabbed Lobo by his shoulders. "Hey, that was a great idea!" She said, with a less-than-sweet grin, as she lifted Lobo off his feet. "You're pretty strong, right? Let's do that. But with you." And with that, she hurled Lobo towards the Gordanians, like a bowling ball being thrown towards a group of pins.

Thor soon found a red blur running besides him, as the Flash ran after the Norse god. "So what's the next step of our plan, buddy?" He asked, dodging Gordanians along the way. "The fellas down there are keeping the Gorganzalans quite busy, which means the way's open for us!"

"We take the bridge! Once we overthrow the captain, we will have access to the central command controls. From there, if any of us know how we can start messing with the environmental controls," Thor said, "If not, then I guess I'm going to have learn to sail this boat myself!"

"I'd prefer if you let the boat sailing part to someone who knows these kind of things!" Flash yelled over the sound of battle. "I'm talking about Starfire! She probably knows how to do it!... speaking of Starfire, I'm gonna check on her!" And with that, he screeched to a halt and ran back, trying to find the orange-skinned alien.

"Actually, I- Oh, okay, you're gone," Thor said.

"Do you know how to fly this ship, Thor?" Donald asked.

"I am no sailor, but most of the Asgardian fleet is made of stolen boats. I'm sure I could figure it out, but if the Princess of Tamaran already knows, it certainly saves me the trouble."

As Wolverine proceeded down the random trail, he found that the ceiling was becoming lower, and more slanted. He probably couldn't see it, but he was headed towards the far left side, to one of the ship's thrusters. He soon found himself up against a thick sealed door, bolted shut. There were sounds behind him, and the shadows of soldiers heading up the corridor.

As the Hero Duo suspected, the gordanians deemed it safe to descend to the ground. One spoke to the pit crew in their native language. <"Gather the pieces. We'll use them for fuel when this is done."> The workers began to gather up the dummies piece by piece, while the troopers took off to attend to more pressing matters elsewhere.

Lobo yelped as he was thrown at the crowd, bowling them over. "Oh, real mature, lady," he grumbled, before taking out his hook chain and swinging it around his head, knocking down nearby attackers. She-Hulk found two soldiers grabbing her by the shoulders (heh) while another simply hit her around the head with his staff.

The security gordanians facing Thor set their staffs to 'stun', and tried to taze the god. Beyond them, the grandly designed door to the bridge stood.

Thor felt electricity strike him, feeding into his own internal reserves.

"I... I don't even know what to say," Thor said as he stood up, taking the hits to his bare chest, looking at the Gordonians with a look of fatherly disappointment.

Wolverine was about to slice through the door when he heard the incoming soldiers. There was no place to hide, plus he wanted to test something.

The mutant turned around, facing the incoming creatures. He then growled loud enough to be heard. His claws were still out, the already dim light somewhere gleaming off the adamantium. Logan had already deduced the Gordanians were heavily reliant on smell, and from what he saw so far their hearing was more or less equal to humans. This left sight.

He was testing how good the eyes of these walking suitcases were. Not to mention combat itself was halfway psychological.....

As soon as the flying Gordanians left, the plastic body parts came back to life, attacking the workers who picked them up with far more strength than human-sized dummies should have. In addition, they had shock on their side (as the parts obviously had no mechanisms inside to animate them, baffling the Gordanian scientists even more.)

Those pieces that were dropped or were already on the floor quickly rolled back together, starting to reform the heroes' bodies.

Starfire continued weaving and dodging around the shots in the sky as she fired starbolt after starbolt at them. She had a lot more room out here to dodge and fight than the cramped Tamaranean ship after all.

She-Hulk felt some minor pain as the staff didn't do a thing to her head- in fact, it got slightly bent in the shape of her profile. "Oooh, you guys do massages too?" She said, attempting to headbutt one of the Gordanians grabbing her shoulder, so she could then use her free hand to send the other Gordanian flying into the one that had just hit her.

Flash stopped right near Starfire, looking up at the alien. "Yo, princess! Is everything alright with you? Just want to make sure the Gordanians don't complete their objective, right? Keep the target safe and all that."

"Uh, that might be a bit of a problem, you know, I can't fly and all that." The Flash said, looking around for the source of the bolts.

The gordanians facing Thor nervously glanced at one another.

"BLAST HIM, IMBECILES, BLAST HIM!" roared the synthesised voice behind the door. The gordanians panicked, and blasted Thor from point blank range.

The gordanians pursuing Wolverine soon came into view. They paused and fired into the darkness, aiming chiefly between the glints of light and the loud snarling.

Startled by the dummies attacking, the boiler workers tumbled to the ground.

Flash could see that the source of the bolts was the cluster of soldiers just outside the entrance, firing with everything they had at Starfire. A few others had actually clambered onto the side of the hull, to get a better shot at her.

And a Strange Figure Emerges.
