They can't for the life of them understand why nobody liked being ruled by a group of manic depressive demigods - 4chanSo, kinda had an idea for a character who's Inexplicably Awesome. He's from something else I'm writing.
My idea is that he was taught by this really good swordsman. Like, one of, if not the best (said swordsman's name was Susanoh). Basically, he was trained to fight as well as other races who are stronger than humans, and that's actually his weakness. He's fast as hell, and some of his sword slashes are so fast you can't see them, but he can't take hits very well, his weapon is terrible for blocking and he also can't fight against heavily armored opponents without exploiting weakspots in the armor. He's constantly holding back, because the way he has trained makes it so his full prowess actually pushes his body past what the human body can handle, and 15 minutes or so of his full strength will more or less kill him.

Um...he wears a mask with a demon's horn embedded in it and his sword (which is red. And a katana) is made of demon steel. Also, I thought of an ability that basically has him be able to cut through magical protection, though doing so requires a lot of effort. The stronger the protection, the more effort it requires. Let's say someone puts up the LOA equivalent of Reflect on Douchebag Minion A. Spells no longer work on Douchebag Minion A. My character can run up to him and, if he has enough strength left to do it, cut the enchantment away and leave Douchebag Minion A vulnerable to spells again.
Hello there! Stumbled upon this little sign up and thought I would join. I've got a character who would be perfect for Ventris.
But considering his...questionable...morality, would he still be accepted? I've tried to enter him into other R Ps before, but they weren't looking for "bad guys" per se. He's a minor villain at best, but he's certainly not above joining forces with a goody-goody if it means he gets what he wants in the end.
Let me know when you can, and I'll work from there!
Well it depends how questionable he is...if he kills like its out of style then its an automatic denial...
however if he is too bad fot the main group...then the villians may be recruiting
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."Well, I'll let you be the judge:
Name: Mason "Menoe" Mead
Age: 44
Race: Daemon
Class: High Class! XD
City: Ventris
Picture: Sleezy yet sophisticated,
◊ slimey yet satisfying.
◊
Weapons: His (pimp?) cane
◊ and a single Smith and Wesson Model 39 pistol,
◊ which he keeps in a holster hidden under his jacket.
Power: Menoe's only supernatural abilty is to negate other supernatural abilities. Usually I have this power simply radiate off him, affecting anyone within 25 yards of his position (short enough to keep him from being a huge menace, but large enough for people to track if they're searchng for him) regardless of being friend or foe. Menoe can neither control nor stop this ablility from happening, but it does not affect Gods, demi-Gods, or anything enchanted by them (magical artifacts). He simply sees it as his way of "leveling the playing field".
Short Bio: Very few people remember Menoe by his real name, and frankly that's just he way he likes it. Living as a street urchin for much of his youth and childhood, Menoe grew up hating the world for its rampant injustices. He believes that all creatures—be they man or woman, elf or gummi—are inherently evil, but unlike so many clerics and religious leaders, Menoe has no intention on changing that. He likes the darkness, and he believes those who strive for true "goodness" are running after a destructive mirage; like moths who will only be satisfied when they're engulfed by the flames they crave. So naturally, Menoe was attracted to the sinful rampancies of Ventris, although he currently declares no loyalty to Lupa Cruz or her rivals. He's just a simple artist of destruction, roaming a world he wants to make his canvas...

...And maybe at least a set of standards, if he has them.
Mainly because unpredictable kill-happy murder hobos are a bit hard to deal with, in my experience. >_>
