That's really up to you, Cats! I have no idea what you sound like, so I can't really recommend any roles, heh.
Alright, good to see this is getting some interest! Everyone who's expressed interest in a character, go ahead and find a few lines you'd like to read - any lines you think show off your voice to the best. Once you've recorded 'em, toss them my way via PM, and I'll start getting the list set up.
It's been fun.I mean I've already done some Karkat
, but these aren't real lines.
The way I tend to hear her is rather clipped; her introductory narration says that 'you Tend To Enunciate Each Word You Speak Very Clearly And Carefully'. Deadpan could also work; she is, after all, a Snarky Broad. I think highly of Octopimp's Kanaya, DustyOldRoses, but as a rule I think everyone should approach their characters in the way they see fit. =)

It's been fun.Ok, I have an audio file, any suggestions as to where to upload it? It's a wmv and Tindeck only accepts M P3s.
Rose, Kanaya, Vriska.
I tried using the effects in Garage Band to make it clearer, not sure if it helped. Sorry for all the clicks.
Okay I'm sorry but Caliborn is like 20x more hilarious when he sounds like a grown man and says things like a 12 year old.

Homan, reading Equius makes me feel lightheaded. Too much breathy.
Edit: I might also record a clip of 'standardized' name pronunciations, just so we're all on the same page. I don't think it'll be a huge deal, though.
^Wasn't weird, no, just a bit fast, I think. =)

It's been fun.I quite like Cat's Rose and Elfive's Caliborn. The latter reminds me of something really nostalgic, like the bad guy in an old english TV show or audiobook.
Anyway, I may submit a voice sample. I'm not sure what character I could do, though. I can't imagine my voice fitting many of the characters.

A while back, some tropers expressed interest in doing a project similar to the (many, many) Homestuck Dubbing Projects out there on the 'net. This thread is mostly to keep conversation about it organized, but out of the main thread. We're not doing the whole thing, as that's a reeeeeaally steep order, and not one I'm up to organizing. That said, we have no timetable for this and no deadlines, so participants are encouraged to submit Pesterlogs they want to do at any time.
