...Huh, so I guess Sapphire has a new voice actress?

I assure you, I'm perfectly trustable personI mean... Compare Sapphire's voice from older episodes to one in Together Forever. They're very different.

What do you think of this?
As long as this flower is in my heart. My Strength will flow without end.
x2 Hmm... I don't know, Erica Luttrell(Sapphire's voice actress) must have one heck of a range, because the moment Sapphire started to speak in Together Forever, my first thought was, "...okay, that's not Sapphire's usual voice" and as I was watching the episode, that thought didn't left me.
I just went back and compared "Keystone Motel" to "Together Forever". It's clearly the same voice, but she's emoting much more. The old Sapphire was very much The Stoic. "Can't you see that I'm completely engulfed with rage?" I think after their marriage, Sapphire is letting loose a lot more.
(BTW, if you have a US cable login, CN has every SU episode on line right now.)
Hmm... Then I guess the problem is that she was too emotive, 'cause she sounded so different that I thought it was someone else.
Still, the credits do mark Erica Luttrell as Sapphire, so I guess she did a bit of too good job here.

This video shows her at her most emotional until now.
As long as this flower is in my heart. My Strength will flow without end.And she went back to nearly emotionless in the movie.

On the Steven breaking bones thing.
I cant help but wonder if introducing element that is a good thing.
Yes a takes the show into areas that alot of cartoons dont usually go to.
But at the same time shows dont go there for a reason. It kinda paints the other characters in a negative light.
For example. Remember when people considered Greg to be one of the best cartoon dad in ficiton?
Cant say that anymore (or at least I cant).Say what you will about the other dads lack of intelligence aleast there kids didnt end up breaking bones on a constant basis.
You cant really see his character the same way again on rewatch. He stopes being the cool dad thats lets his kid go on wacky adventures and starts looking more and more like a neglectful dad who shouldnt be allowing this to happen.
I guess some people find that interesting but im not sure if thats something I want to see

The thing is NO one suspected this was causing Steven permanent damage. Because he didn't mention the pain and showed no external signs of injury. Kind of a metaphor for how Steven's been dealing with his pain in general.

True. But That also means that nobody bothered to make sure he was fine and instead just assumed he was because he looked fine .
Which guess is part of point of this arc.
Still bothers me since Stevens unquie origin should have been reason enough to be more thorough with his physical health.
Also makes me think that maybe he was right not to want Connie involed all thoses epiodes ago.

When I heard that the line "You haven't told your mom yet?" was going to be in the episode, I thought for sure it was going to be Steven asking Connie about telling her mom about Stevonnie.
