The title of that episode does make me think, perhaps if/when Steven transforms into the giant monster from the opening, rather than going on a Godzilla style rampage, he's actually in such great denial that he doesn't even realize what's happened to him and his destruction is unintentional. Maybe the plot of "Everything's Fine" follows Steven in a weirdly pleasant day despite everything going to hell last episode but as it goes on we get hints that not all is as it appears to be then the end reveals that Steven has changed into the monster but still thinks he's normal and the plot of the following episode is everyone trying to convince him what has happened.
Steven tries to get some donuts and accidentally demolishes the Big Donut
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢I mean the whole "corrupted Steven" theory already reeks of Madoka-vibes, so the latter is already possible.

The audio of Steven's proposal was one of the things that was leaked. Oddly, that means for me (and others), the biggest twist of "Together Forever" wasn't Connie's rejection, but that Ruby and Sapphire both encouraged it.
Wow, so Steven's not just durable, he actually has a Healing Factor—mostly.
Maybe it's just me but...
It bugs me that Garnet chides Steven over wanting to be Stevonnie forever and claims Sapphire and Ruby have individual lives. It's been heavily implied over series run that Garnet very rarely de-fuses and it only happens when the two are upset or that one time that Ruby wanted to go western for a weekend. I mean her point wasn't wrong, but I think an actual human had to sit with Steven and explain why proposing forever fusion resulted in a "not right now"

Also I am dissapointed that Steven has not tried to ask Greg for help. He is the one who made him so nice and kind and wearing his heart on his sleeve. I know the arc calls for Steven to resemble Pink Diamond more and more but it breaks my heart to see him fall so low.
As long as this flower is in my heart. My Strength will flow without end.Yeah, his real fault is being so much of a martyr that he didn't INSIST on Greg coming to help him despite serious problems
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Ah I wasn't sure if I still needed to spoiler tag or not.
But true, they've been doing their thing a bit more and there's also been a time skip. But maybe this frustration is supposed to be intentional so the audience feels the stress Steven's feeling? I really hoped we got a proper heart to heart with Greg here - but leaving it at just "everyone makes mistakes" feels...not enough. But then I guess if any of it was enough, the next 2 episodes wouldn't be a thing.
