There was some new (albeit minor) voices these episodes, but the one-hour block with the credits at the end made it kind of hard to see who they were.
- Rodrigo (and the Cookie Cat hallucination) were Johnny Hawkes.
- Jasmine was Marieve Herington.
- Daniel and Jamie were Lamar Abrams (co-storyboard artist for this episode who also voices Buck and some other minor characters).
- Patricia was Tahani Anderson
- Brandish was Deedee Magno-Hall (just like Pearl)
- Khadijah was Uzo Aduba (just like Bismuth)
- "Cam's Camshafts" was sung by Zach Callison (Steven's voice actor).
"Can't Hold Me" is actually a licensed song (the show's third, after Mike Krol's "Like a Star" and "Fifteen Minutes") by Emily King, who also sings the end theme. It actually came out barely a year ago, so they might have gotten the track early for use in the show.
It's funny how the show keeps to Steven's Limited Social Circle so much, Connie's school friends showing up is practically a plot twist unto itself.
I know American cram schools are a thing in real life, but something about the way Connie talks about it makes it sound like another alternate universe thing.
I don't mind if there's more than one episode where Steven's demons are on display without it advancing things in some way. It helps to feel more like a period of his life he's going through.

Wait I just realized Steven called himself 16 in "Bismuth Casual" despite Winter happening in "Snow Day" and now I am very confused
Oh, so that's who Johnny was voicing.

Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢A mistake on Steven's part is just as likely as the writers. The timeline of Future (which was mostly implied by one winter episode) may not have been settled while they were writing this one.
EDIT: Connie singing "You Can't Hold Me" in the first scene made me realize how many sources list the chorus as "You can't hold me down", when it's actually "You can't hold me now".

TBH Bismuth and Pearl had some background hints prior, also I guess they didn't want Pearl to start a relationship with someone that resembles Rose Quart...

Prettiest Meta Knight Gijinka, ngl
Your second point is a very good one, as it was a major point of Pearl's character arc that she becomes independent and overcomes her obsession with Rose. Regarding your first point, I never got those Pearl-Bismuth vibes - sure, Pearl was really happy to see Bismuth when she showed up, but so was Garnet, so I thought it was just an "old friend" thing; and in Season 5 and the Movie, Bismuth was becoming part of a Power Trio with Lapis and Peridot.
We already saw that she had all those other phone numbers stored within her head.
And I didn't think this was the kind of show that would go for First Girl Wins. Perhaps she needed someone sufficiently like Rose to break her out of her funk, sure, but it was just a first step. Committing to a Replacement Goldfish wouldn't have been all that healthy for her either, and I'm actually glad they didn't bring the Mystery Girl back for that reason.
This. Pearl seeking new romance is cute, but her attraction to Mystery Girl was painfully rooted in her excessively dependant love for Rose, which she grew mostly out of.
If she had gotten together with MG it would've been backtracking
Prettiest Meta Knight Gijinka, nglBismuth also glomped Biggs, though, so you could reasonable interpret either as non-romantically affectionate.
I look at Bismuth lifting Pearl as like when Sadie blushed at Jenny hugging her. A sign of physical attraction may or may not have been the intention of the scene when it was written, but it makes sense in hindsight either way.
Apparently Biggs was loved by everyone, so Bismuth isn't only one.
Then again, that statement came from Bismuth herself, so who knows?

I assure you, I'm perfectly trustable personBreaking News: Maya Petersen confirmed
that Peridot is indeed aromatic/asexual representation (this was hinted at in the book about Fusion). "In Dreams" is also Peridot's last focus episode.
Welp, RIP Amedot ever becoming canon. Heh, I'd just pretend she's only Ace in any future RP of them I make. :p
Prettiest Meta Knight Gijinka, nglCould've also been a squish (platonic crush) for Amethyst and a queerplatonic relationship with Lapis. Just spitballing. *shrug*
In any case, I'm glad to hear that! I was wondering if there would be any aro ace characters on this show! I mean, it'd be nice if it were more explicit but... it's always hard making this explicit since it's defined by a lack of something. So yeah, my aro ace self is super thrilled.

So these episodes were really good...but I'm afraid things are starting to get redundant.
"In Dreams" was good but this episode didn't tell us anything we didn't already know. Steven is afraid of being left behind by the people he loves while also processing his own emotions about his own past trauma and abandonment. Is anyone going to do anything about it? The fact that Steven kept having excessive nightmares regarding his past trauma is both terrifying and depressing. It was great to see Peridot again, but she was definitely underutilized here.
"Bismuth Casual" was painful to watch (in a good way). I know I said I wanted Steven to be a teenager and do things with people his age, but seeing such a sweet and social kid like Steven have trouble socializing with people just made me pretty sad. I can't tell if it's the added layer of context regarding Steven's hard life or just me being extremely protective of Steven's character, but Steven struggling to skate while everyone else is having fun was...kind of a tearjerker.
