A Very Special Episode promo

He also says it's not like "Bluebird" and to prepare accordingly, and I have no idea what he means by that
And some art of Smoky, Sunstone, and Rainbow
Character acting is used to differentiate that.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Forget what I said here, I'm forgetful LMAO

Prettiest Meta Knight Gijinka, nglEyeball and Aquamarine. Eyeball is much more straightforward about her hostilities, to the point where Steven helping her was a case of The Scorpion and the Frog.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Bizarrely, the credits of "Bluebird" list Callison as voicing both Steven and Pumpkin, the latter of which wasn't in the episode at all. (Charlyne Yi is also credited as Eyeball and Ruby, even though Eyeball was the only Ruby—presumably that's to be less confusing because she calls herself "Ruby".)
Bluebird was voiced by Larissa Gallagher.
I noticed that the credits also switched to listing Danny Cragg under his current name between "Rose Buds" and "Volleyball". Which I guess means the latter episode was finished about three months ago.
On a quick look through I noticed there were two humans besides Greg and Steven at the party: Ronaldo (talking to Orange Spodumene, who ironically caused him significant ear damage

Onion previously showed he'll hang out in the ocean, which is where that hair ended up.
To keep continuity while still giving some wiggle room on airing order, it may be a few episodes until we see Greg after his haircut (like how "Volleyball" conspicuously avoided showing the stairs in Steven's house after Rose's picture was taken down in "Rose Buds" but before seeing its replacement in "Bluebird").
I like how the writers took the episode being possibly non-canon as an excuse to give Onion what were basically magic powers.
Hell, maybe they started doing it to familiarize the people of Beach City with the concept.
I'm actually not sure if that's the same location or not. The stuff that makes the tower in the first shot look different is scaffolding, which they would remove after it was done.
Even if they are the same location, I think Little Homeworld is the physical location and Little Homeschool is the program.

Its (probably intentionally) too vague to tell.
It could be just be because he is going through puberty.
It could be because all the traumatic experiences he went through are catching up to him.
It could be because WD pulling out the gem damaged the connection between his two halves.
It could be because the revujenation removed all the "patches" his mom did.
Or it could be any combination of the above.
I would even consider the possibility that they never reveal the reason because its not important to the crewniverse why he goes through this but that he goes through this and learns from it.
Edit: hey my first pagetopper.
