This has been asked before(around 5:55)
Sorry, I remembered Sugar said they didn't recognize that (and that Lapis probably wouldn't make a big deal out of it at this point), I should have asked "Will they ever realize".

While Fluorite's components were not confirmed, Rhodonite is made of Ruby and Pearl.
I think the question was more "What do they look and act like as individuals?"

> Are they ever going to get the Cluster out of the Earth?

See this is one of those cases where with the Gem empire's aid they could probably extract The cluster, but once it's free of the Earth who knows what it would do,it's probably just as dangerous out of the Earth as it is inside it to be honest

once it's free of the Earth who knows what it would do,
Nothing bad, because it's proven itself to be actively benevolent, and was only a threat despite its own wishes?

it's probably just as dangerous out of the Earth as it is inside it to be honest
Inside the Earth it could destroy the entire planet by accident. Then it would be outside the Earth anyway.

The idea of lapiz not caring about that sound like a coup up to me to free bismuth of what she did, because that was pretty damn bad.

Also, can the cluster even be extract from earth? like, really?.

Bismuth poofed Lapis. It wasn't her who shoved Lapis in the mirror. She didn't shatter her, despite being willing to ideology.

It's not Bismuth's fault that Homeworld treats their own Gems like trash

Not to mention Lapis has had two years to properly recover and move on from her trauma.

Bismuth also had good reason to want any Lapis Lazulis incapacitated—Homeworld may not have used them to fight, but they were destroying Earth's ecosystem.

[up][up] Thousands of years in stasis inside Pearl's gem, vs. two years of actually living, being exposed to an entire new lifestyle removed from the one that hurt her.

Lapis is messed up, but the whole point of her running away to the Moon and then returning to Earth is about her confronting her fears and leaving her past behind.

It's interesting how gems - even more free minded ones like the Crystal Gems - have cultural and personal stigma against changing beyond who they are, and have difficulty growing as people on their own without something to make them as a result.

Nearly all of the principal gem characters (hero and villain) have had serious issues that they've held onto and let fester for thousands of years.

" She didn't shatter her, despite being willing to ideology."

Bismuth was close to shatter gems, Lapis was inocent until that moment she poof her.

Lapis was literally there to destroy the Earth. Unlike most Gems, where they only support a system that does so, the literal job of Lapis Lazulis is to terraform the planet, destroying the ecosystem. I would be surprised if Lapis Lazulis weren't the single highest priority target of the Rebellion, since they, along with the Kindergartens, represent the most direct threat to the Earth itself.

Gems' lives are better measured in experience than time.

Lapis was inocent until that moment she poof her.
"Innocent" is a very relative concept when applied to a major asset of a world-destroying empire.

Lapis was literally there to destroy the Earth.
She said she "was only meant to visit for a short time". Even assuming Lapis was telling the whole truth (not glossing over that she was visiting to terraform), how would Bismuth have known that?

After what we saw Lapis do to the ocean all by herself, yeah, I can see why she was targeted to be stopped by any means necessary.

It's been fun.

Which by all means the leader of the resistance was like, one of the elite of said world destroying empire making even less inocent that all gem who fight in the war.

There better be a flashback episode or something dealing with this because they can't just sweep her under the rug like that.

Here is a direct source

Many people suspected this, given her absence and how short-lived the Watermelon Stevens are.

Steven just needs to spit on it and they'll have a pink pumpkin.
I don't think Steven can heal old age, even if it can slow it down.

How long would Pumpkin have lasted if Steven destroyed her and then resurrected her shortly after she was born? I know someone once did the math on how much being a pink zombie slows your aging by.

I know someone once did the math on how much being a pink zombie slows your aging by.
If you mean dividing Lars' heart rate (about 20 BPM) versus what it probably was before (probably around 80 BPM), that does not seem like near as much a slowdown as they suggested in the podcast.

It would also mean Lion wouldn't even live as long as a human, which would make Rose putting her stuff (and Bismuth!) in his mane pretty stupid.

'Cause there's only two trees in his mane, one for Lion and one for Lars, and they're relatively close to each other.

[up][up]The issue isn't losing a place to keep her stuff, it's the things (one of which is a person!) becoming inaccessible or even being destroyed if Lion died of old age when Rose wasn't paying attention—less than eighty years is not a long time to a gem, and the two of them may not have been in regular contact.

[up]Unless a tree and hill disappear when the one they're connected to dies, which goes with the whole "volatile storage container" issues.

[up]Maybe it's just a glowing orb in the sky, rather than an actual star the dimension orbits?

[up][up][up][up]But... Bismuth was poofed before the Corruption happened, which was at least 4000 years ago. Where did Rose keep Bismuth's gem if she didn't create Lion yet?
