In this grown up future Steven Universe, there might be a chance to get that one story related thing people wanted out of the original series.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I've heard that it's going to be a limited series, yah think well got another case of Tales from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on our hands?
Apparently it may also be the final season.
I'm not sure if this article is jumping the gun or not. Can anyone confirm this?

"Limited series" can mean several things. It could mean a mini-series with just a few episodes or it could mean a full season of a one-season show.
This song needs more love.- Narratively speaking, two Lapis Lazuli specifically making trouble may be because they're a gem type we know is super powerful that can use an actor they already cast.
- Whatever the hell that huge thing is, I think you can make out some sort of body the neck comes out of, so it's not exactly a worm.
- That flying gem is either a fusion with Aquamarine or some other altered version of her. As radically different as the color scheme and four legs are, they wouldn't give her the same gemstone position for an unrelated character (even another Aquamarine).
- I would not be surprised if Jasper—or even some of the others—looking scary is a bait-and-switch, and the conflict she'd relevant to isn't as an antagonist.
- Some Watermelon Steven merging into a cactus is much less likely than Steven using the same powers on a cactus.
- My best guess for pink-shaded White Diamond is something related to how her emotions can unconsciously change her color. Like, she totally loses control of herself and changes a bunch of different colors.
- Sadie changed her hair again—lost the green dye entirely, it's tied back in a short ponytail, and she added a hairband. Makes me wonder how long this is set after the movie, because Sadie had a consistent outfit and hair there even after Beach City was rebuilt.
- I do not believe we've ever seen that man at the table with Sadie and the purple quartz before.
- One person already mentioned it, but I'll again point out Rubies are now Nanefua's bodyguards.
- All the Diamonds and Spinel are in the opening, but I wouldn't assume they all have a major role.

My best guess is that she's a fusion between Aquamarine and Eyeball Ruby.
It's actually three Rubies with Nanefua; her hair bun is miscolored in that shot, making it look like four.
Assuming those aren't three new Rubies entirely and Doc, Leggy, and Army did indeed become her guards, and Eyeball/Navy did in fact shack up with Aquamarine, then that still leaves one Ruby MIA.

Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢Here
is a recap of other stuff from New York Comic-Con, albeit kind of disorganized.

One day we'll find out what's in the mystery box, still fond my theory that it's full of Pink's court members who she put in there for safe keeping but she sort of forgot about them
have a listen and have a link to my discord serverThe problem with Aquamarine being in a fusion with someone is that every other character visible has their eyes and gem glowing, but Aquamarine only has her eyes and her aquamarine gem glowing. Unless her other gem is on the back, the Gem Aquamarine's fused with has to have an eye gem, a red color scheme (and it is red, I don't believe it's orange), and conceivably still have a grudge against Steven. Unless they're going to introduce a new character just to fuse with Aquamarine, Eyeball Ruby is the only suitable candidate.
Plus, the Aquamarine fusion's patchwork color scheme really reminds me of Young Garnet's design, and the idea of Garnet facing off with a fusion between Eyeball and Aquamarine just sounds ripe with dramatic possibilities, expecially if Garnet decides to try and teach said fusion to be a better person.

I just realized that the shot with the villains replaces the line "nothing to fear, no one to fight" from the original song, showing that there's still a few villains out there to fear and fight.
