The closeup of the new temple is from the karaoke stage they set up
.
People could already notice the dome from the background of the poster. I can see from the closer view that thing on the detached elbow is just a tree.
In other news, here's a cool Pink/Rose outfit
from the Her Universe runway event.
Maybe? Villains from The Movie for cartoon shows tend to be standalone and separated from the main continuity. I wouldn't be surprised if they never mention her again when the show returns.

Most of the other standalone villains haven't actually been redeemed (The Rubies, Holly Blue, Aquamarine, Squaridot and Hessonite, etc).
And besides, as long as she's written well and the path towards her Heel–Face Turn isn't rushed, that part of the movie should still be enjoyable.

Those villains were all Just Following Orders. Seeing as their superiors were all redeemed very quickly, is it much of a stretch to think they no longer oppose the heroes?
Movie is confirmed to premiere on September 2nd

GUNDAMU GUNDAMUThe true origin of the series' title.
At this point, I'm wondering if we'll even learn this heart-shaped gem's before the movie itself airs.
The premier is 45 days away. If you plan to rewatch the whole show spread out in the meantime, that'll be about four episodes a day.

Apparently CN is actually doing a full series marathon before the start of the movie.
Looks like Jenny from My Life as a Teenage Robot went to a dark place.
Scene-by-scene analysis:
- The new town has a Crystal Gem emblem in the floor, so it's almost definitely for them specifically. The place has a nice aesthetic—still noticeable alien, but also very rustic. Wonder if it has a name (in or out of series).
- Steven and Amethyst appear to installing a warp pad. I guess they're all mostly underground.
- Steven's voice is definitely much closer to how Callison sounds naturally, though I'm unsure if exactly the same.
- "Dismantling the empire and saving all your planets." seems like an odd way to phrase when we only see him talking to gems.
- Pink's leg ship is back on Homeworld. I wonder if he left it there, or was broadcasting his message from it before taking off. Though if they rebuild the Galaxy Warp, it wouldn't be a big deal.
- Looks like Bismuth set up shop in the new town.
- Connie looks almost the same, though she might be taller (she and Steven are practically the same height).
- Steven and Connie appear to be inside that moon-base dome. They're growing the same flowers that were around Pink Diamond's palanquin which she made the fake shards with.
- The new gem looks like she's turning her hand into a horn and about to blow.
- The largest segment of her ship looks like an hourglass. Given the passage of time and Steven wishing things wouldn't change, that may significant, at least thematically. Though the crystal on top makes it look like a potion bottle.
- The ship generally looks like an Injector on steroids.
- There's a little Luffy in how her stretching is animated, but Plastic Man seems to be the closest comparison.
- Wonder if she's as animalistic as she appears or just doesn't want to talk.
- Though weird in her own way, she comes across to me as a relatively "normal" gem, if maybe a unique one. She's most likely a creation of Pink Diamond, which likely relates to her attacking Earth.
- While Steven struggles with her, it cause the same "cracking skin" visual as a destabilizer, except colored pink. Not sure if that's significant, or it's just some generic energy attack.
- This is quite an escalation of how damaged Beach City has gotten. Lucky they learned to evacuate!
- The ship's "vial" is empty as the damage spreads. Clearly, the pink stuff in the crevice comes from the ship.
- The top of Peridot's forehead is well below the bottom of Steven's neck.
- In the shot before Steven draws his shield, the heart-gem moves her mouth as if if actually talking, but with her dialogue muted.
- Bismuth's new overalls might not be her regular outfit.
- Amethyst and Pearl falling together and the light exploding out of the "Delmarvan Distribution Center" look sort of like they were stitched together.
- The damage on Steven's clothes give something of a timeline. They're like that while fighting and a few scenes surmounting the machine, but also as he's in front of the moon and shredding with Greg.
- The crystal on the injector is also shaped like a heart on top. The ship is most likely not stolen, then.

I think it's been stated that the "sweat" the diamonds produce is the substance used in the injectors, so I wonder if Steven has been sending containers of his sweat to Homeworld over the last two years?
