I was forgetting the part where he has to be sleeping somewhere relevant to the memory. Not something likely to happen often, especially since his house is separate from the temple.
Maybe he’d see some Rose memories if he fell asleep in her armory, the Strawberry Battlefield, the palanquin wreck, her room, etc.
Just binged the recent episodes so I'm caught up before the finale comes up next Thursday.
I found it really odd at first that White, Yellow, and Blue find fusing with a human offensive when at the same time they're not bothered at all by how Steven has a human body. After thinking about it though it's probably more about rankism than racism (speciesism?). Steven fusing with anyone would have set them off, but Connie not even having any place in gem heirarchy just made it way worse.

They may not even understand his body is organic at all, and think it's just a regular construct that looks especially human-like.
Even if they do, they almost definitely don't accept it as an irreversible change.

Back on the podcast, it's amazing that Zach Callison is in his twenties but his voice still keeps getting deeper.
He mentioned the way the Watermelon animals spread seems kind of invasive, like something the Crystal Gems might have to stop. That's probably forgetting that Mask Island's wildlife was already horribly mutated.

You can tell by the promos that Blue Diamond confronts Steven and Connie in the room they're locked in now. Given the blue lighting and limited spaced (she's barely below the ceiling), she almost definitely came alone.
Another question unlikely to be answered this season: Is the Crystal Temple modeled on a fusion of all the Crystal Gems?
A prediction I saw tossed around a lot was that all the crystal gems (or, well, Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl and Steven ) would fuse in the final battle, resulting in a form that resembles the Temple. Recent developments have made that a bit less likely I guess but still possible. Also, the fusion in Dewey's play may have been an inaccurate depiction of the Temple fusion (Rose version).
Here's a query: Does Blue Diamond even have legs?

I could see them saying Yellow's lightning (and also the gem destabilizers that seem to be base off of it) wouldn't work on a fusion like that because of Steven's organic parts.
So that would be something.
I think the temple could be an exxaggerated interpretation of Alexandrite. The statue has the same wild hair, and number of arms. Two faces for the two mouths and sets of eyes. Also Alexandrite back then wouldn't have had sunglasses because Garnet didn't either.
And the temple doesn't have Rose's gem. The house is positioned very low on the belly so it shouldn't be blocking it.
That prompts a question, though, would Rose have fused with anyone besides Pearl? Depending on how much information/knowledge is shared between Fusions that could potentially spill the Pink Diamond issue. On the flip side, we've seen enough of Steven, Connie, Ruby, and Sapphire to know that they don't gain total knowledge of the other, so maybe I'm overthinking.

They are often relevant memories. Steven got a lot of the Pink Diamond memories because the truth about Pink was weighing more and more heavily on him.
