Getting sick from the burrito kind of seems like Early-Installment Weirdness, because I think "So Many Birthday" was still a while before they established Amethyst was pretty much Matter Eater Lass.
Also, it really never made sense for her to get sick and vomit in like ten seconds. Either she'd need to digest the thing for hours or would throw up out of disgust—which she clearly didn't have.
But to get sick from eating a moldy burrito wouldn't require just a completely functioning digestive system. It'd also require some variety of pathogen that could infect, poison, or otherwise deleteriously affect a gem, plus whatever a gem has that functions as an immune system (even if it's completely alien to what Earth life has, I'm going to assume that gems have something that works analagously) was unable to completely neutralize it immediately. I'm also inclined to chalk that up to either a) Early-Installment Weirdness, or b) Amethyst intentionally acting sick because she seems to like seeing what various Earth things are like (given the points immediately above, I like the latter).
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. Before they showed the Diamond fight how did everyone expect the fight to go down?
I was actually expecting one of them would be toppled and tied down in a Gulliver Tie-Down,and the other would go down fighting in a fusion battle,Alexandrite vs Yellow was how I imagined it,also,I suspected Lapis would show up to do a barn drop but it would be a quick attack before retreating to the moon,I didn't think she'd even stand her ground and fight

It's just me or it seems that at least half of the stuff was taken from another SU Rant done by another youtuber (Robobuddies) which was done in 2017 (and which under my opinion is far better at handling some of the stuff) and which feature far less insults toward the creators.

For those would don't wanna sit though 2hrs of content here are the highlights.
The uploaders feel that the show handles the LGBT relationships poorly (Peals relationship with Rose being a literal master/slave relationship. Steveonnie bening a portrayed as androgynous when she doesnt look it,Ruby and sapphire not getting enough screen time,Garnet being more of a plot service to explain fusion then a actual character).
She aslo touches on the unfortunate implications of the shows handleing of theit 'black coded' female gems. She links this opinion piece to explain her point
Lastly she's also firm against the shows attempts to paint the diamonds in a more sympathetic light, stating that their actions (namely the gem experiments) paint them to horrific for that. Not to mention she views the Diamonds as Nazi.
There more but that's the bunk of it,the rest is stuff that was argued about before.

Saying Stevonnie can't be androgynous because they don't "look androgynous enough" and saying that a Jewish woman is a Nazi apologist for writing cartoon villains that aren't totally irredeemable is...uh, well, those are some real fucking hot takes, I'd say.
they're gonna find intelligent life up there on the moon/and the canterbury tales will shoot up to the top of the best-seller listIt shows they've never listened to Rebecca Sugar in interviews too.
She is like the most cynical fucking creator I've ever heard speak.
Her statement on the Diamonds having some semblance of depth basically boiled down to her saying that there's so many irredeemably and one dimensionally evil people in the world and that she wants to make a fantasy where some of them aren't that terrible.
Oh really when?Yeah, that definitely doesn't sound like a video I'm very interested in watching. Esp if its more valid complaints were ones already given by Robobuddies' video, which I have watched already. And I could live without hearing another person talk about how a Jewish woman is totes being a Nazi apologist because she dares to have a show where the bad guys might not be one-dimensional baddies. Oh no, how utterly awful!
When we're done, there won't be anything left. The "SU is racist" argument kinda dried up when Bismuth turned out to be kind of right (Steven even admits this unprompted) and was entirely reasonable where she WAS wrong. Meanwhile, Garnet got some long awaited character development in Season 5 as did both of her components.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing."Steven Universe is garbage and here's why"...
That title says enough, honestly...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Ah yes, Rose/Pearl. That unequivocally positively-portrayed relationship that had no long-lasting complications for either of the involved parties, and certainly wasn't an undercurrent across five seasons for Pearl's failures to cope with her own past and emotional instability.
Seriously, it may have started out as a Bodyguard Crush, but destroying the unthinking hierarchy between Gems was part of the whole point of Rose's rebellion. There's a reason Garnet is the one who opened Rose's eyes, and it's not (just) because she's a fusion - Ruby and Sapphire are from very different castes, but they love each other. Rose was not a perfect person by any means - she was selfish and didn't think about things from other people's viewpoints very much, but she loved Pearl in her own way and wanted her to see Rose as an equal and a lover, not a master.
Of course, dynamics like that are hard to break and can be very unhealthy, but from what we've seen, Rose did try.
It's been fun.Yeah, anytime anyone brings up the Unfortunate Implications of Rose being Pearl's master, I just respond with "Unfortunate Implications? You mean the deep-seated issues that Pearl's entire character arc has been centered around coming to terms with and moving on from?"
Those aren't so much "implications" as they are "part of the plot".
I mean theres also the slugalite incident, which apparently some fans(not just her,but on reddit as well)have viewed it as 'White woman having to subdue large angry violent black woman brute'

Amethyst got sick from eating a moldy old burrito, so she probably digests what she eats. Then again, she doesn't seem to have any issues with eating plates and motor oil, though maybe that's due to her durability as a gem.
If Rose can shape-shift a fully-fuctioning set of reproductive organs, than Amethyst can probably shape-shift a fully-functioning digestive system, complete with digestive juices.
