You do know there's still another season, right?
Was that next season planned out from the beginning? Some people are saying that this is as far as the original plan for the show went and that everything after the next two episodes was part of a Post-Script Season. Is this accurate?

There's like this interview with Rebecca way back when the Seasons 2-5 renewal was announced where she said "end game or not, I'm shooting for the moon. I'm going to write us into a serious corner!" I think they've got stuff planned for Season 6, most likely dealing with that "corner", whatever it is.
Hey... I just thought of a solution that could make everyone happy. What if White Diamond shatters or corrupts Blue and Yellow permanently? Redemption Equals Death?
As long as this flower is in my heart. My Strength will flow without end.And to make it even more effective, Heroic Sacrifice.
Because why not?
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. And if one doesnt feel inclined to forgive Blue and Yellow it could be a Heel–Face Door-Slam!
As long as this flower is in my heart. My Strength will flow without end. That said, they've had years since to come up with stuff to do after, and there's also a bunch of important stuff only conceived or at least solidified while planning the season it will be revealed (Bismuth even being a character, how the Cluster would be confronted, the abductions at the end of season four).
I’m interested to see where this is going. Whoever noted here that they seem to be hastily resolving a bunch of hanging plot points and ideas in a short amount of time and rushing into a climax has a good point. The ball is rolling very quickly now, which does support the idea that the show was supposed to end with this.
So if it’s still going afterwards, we can probably expect the overlying danger to be something very new and unexpected.

I have to admit, the ending of the recent episode highlights part of why I still have mixed feelings about Rose being Pink Diamond instead of having shattered her: It provides an unrealistically easy solution to the conflict with the Diamonds.
In real life, there are some things people are never going to reconcile with each other over, that are beyond forgiveness and can spart lifelong or generations-long bitter conflicts. The shattering of Pink Diamond seemed to be one such thing. Resolving the conflict by revealing that the instigating incident never happened in the first place... well, it feels sorta cheap.
Assuming some sort of truce does happen, a lot of people are just taking it as more fuel for the fire that White Diamond is the overarching Big Bad. Though, if they're willing to go this route with Yellow and Blue, I'm not totally sure they'd go that way for White, whatever is up with her.

It'll end when it begins.
It just started, mang, no answers are gonna be rolling up to bat right away.
Seeing Sapphy's eye so much is really putting off...not sure why.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. We have a promo, like we did after "A Single Pale Rose", so I'd say that the wait will probably be about the same. So around two months, maybe?
Oh God! Natural light! So what was up with the sudden mind powers visual representation...?
I didn't see anyone mention that before.
Also Blue Diamondo is very beatiful.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. When he reached out to Malachite, Steven found himself in the landscape where Lapis and Jasper fought for dominance.
And when he connected with the Cluster, he found himself in endless space surrounded by countless gem shards unaware of each other.
What Steven did in the finale is the same, but with several individuals at the same time.
So would it be considered just a great coincidence that Pearl reveals Rose was Pink which turns out to be the only way the group could survive the Diamond invasion a few days later or could there be something else behind the timing of the reveal? After all, it clearly showed that the gems had no chance against beating the diamonds in a straight up fight and its only the Pink reveal that ends the fight (so far). Imagine if Steven waited another week to confront Pearl or if he never had that dream in 'Can't Go Back.'
-Witty line-Oooh, I assume psychic powers are a diamond thing then. Steven can do the mind thing, and yellow and blue could both push him away while the other gems couldn't.
The internet is a waste of time, and that's exactly what's right about it-William Gibson![]()
A great coincidence, maybe. However, of you're thinking of Contrived Coincidence, I'd say no. It's no bigger a coincidence than you'd see in any story.
