You're referring to what with his absence...?
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. In the first season, Lars had occasional major roles, and frequent minor roles. In the second and third (production-wise), he had a one major role and didn't have a single line in any other episode.
The same happened to a lesser degree with Sadie—she was only in two episodes of season two, and three of season three.
Not sure if I should spoiler tag this but one of the pictures has Sapphire and Steven at what looks like Rose's fountain
There goes my theory that Sapphire had run away to funland to beat her high score at Meat Beat mania!

have a listen and have a link to my discord serverRuby and Sapphire are depicted as almost unable to function without each other and unable to concentrate on anything but one another when they're unfused. Maybe not a huge problem when they spend most of their time as one being anyway, but it's not a dynamic I think would be very healthy in a real-life relationship.
They dealt with the plan as well as everyone else back in Gem Heist.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Yeah now that you mention it I do recall the baseball episode had Ruby and Sapphire blowing their cover because they couldn't stop flirting with each other when it was their plan and Steven's to begin with

I saw that as them understanding that the stakes were higher and they couldn't afford to mess about like they did back on Earth, they were basically in enemy territory
edit:On the whole I don't see Ruby and Sapphire's obsession with each other as a bad thing, probably just quirk that comes with their relationships being experienced as literal fusion

They're not an actual threat.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.July 2-6? I guessed totally wrong.
Though I'll note the other show with premiers on that day (OK, K.O.) is doing them in the morning instead of the evening.
One bright side is that this bomb will give Estelle a break and give Charlyne Yi and Erica Luttrell another chance to shine.
This is another one of those things that is frustrating but painfully realistic in relationships. Feeling hurt and betrayed over one thing, Sapphire ends up lashing out and hurting her well-meaning partner with a very personal jab.

Disgusted, but not surprisedHuh, guess my theory of Sapphire going back to the Keystone Motel is wrong. Going to Rose's Fountain seems more like a Pearl thing, so that'll be interesting.
I'm surprised nobody's mentioned that the episodes are coming to DVD.
"What's Your Problem" seems like it'll be two fold, which is great.
Five episodes? That, uh, isn't how I thought they'd do it. What's gonna go down with the last three, then?

"Stuck Together" and "Off Colors" would say otherwise.
And yet he opened up a lot faster about why than he would have before.
