Well, I don't know about all that. I don't think Blue Diamond will be all that happy to discover that her sister doesn't exist anymore, even if it turns out that it wasn't due to shattering. And remember that scene in "Three Gems and a Baby" where Pearl stopped herself from pulling the gem out of Steven? BD is not going to hold back like Pearl did, I can pretty much promise.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.
Blue Diamond seems to be more cautious and less decisive than Yellow though, at least judging off of the trial, and without knowing for sure whether Pink Diamond would actually regenerate would probably be wary of potentially destroying all that’s left of her; that seems more like a Yellow thing to do.

> I really don't think Blue is going to react to any of this positively.
On the whole of it no,of course not,
But given how she desperately clings to Pink's memory and how long she's grieved, she might go towards preserving Steven if she thinks he's part of the same legacy

Which can easily turn into I'm Taking Him Home with Me!
In fact, I can totally see that.

Steven befriending/negotiating with Blue Diamond seems more likely now—too likely to be a resolution on its own. I figure the idea is gonna be outright subvertedpossibilities or simply fail to help, at least in the short run (like if she turned on Yellow, but Yellow incapacitates Blue before she can provide any aid).
I'm worried about pacing for the rest of the show.
This seasons was planned, at least at some point, to be a potential ending. But while "A Single Pale Rose" resolved the biggest combination of mysteries in the show, it raises so many questions about how things happened then, and what happens next. And while it's all but certain a sixth season is in the works, that seems like a later development—much closer to the preceding season's completion than before.
I'm worried we'll hit a Cosmic Deadline followed by a Post-Script Season. It all depends on how willing the staff were to focus on the storylines they did have enough room for this season, even at risk of leaving others unresolved.
I'm not so worried. While the mystery of Pink Diamond was clearly a major climax that they've been building towards since close to the beginning (well, okay, the writing staff was building towards it since the start, but the show itself didn't start building it up until a little ways in), it also is clearly not the biggest climax they've been building towards. There are still a lot of loose threads that they're going to build towards - whether it be mini-climaxes like Lars and the Off Colors finally reaching Earth, or what I think will be the final climax, a confrontation with White Diamond. Not to mention fallout from this climax. My concern is less with pacing and more with scheduling, but that's been a particular problem for all of us for a while.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.A lot of the early stuff was 'YOUR MOM WAS GREAT' which was necessary groundwork to then deconstruct that
Forever liveblogging the Avengers> They'll probably try ripping out his Gem the way Pearl nearly did in "Three Gems and a Baby".
There's a long standing theory that if Steven's was removed Rose would reform but Steven would cease to exist
I feel like the Gem itself can not be removed, instead what happens is that 'Rose' wakes up,realises Steven is in actual danger and takes control and righteously beats down whoever she deems a threat, complete with glowing eyes and layered voiced change

Her delivery of "Sorry to make you come all this way" is one of my favorites.
