So does anyone else get the impression that the Diamonds are a Four-Temperament Ensemble now that we've been introduced to three of the four? Which by process of elimination would make White Phlegmatic.

I wonder how Greg will react to finding out Rose was Pink Diamond.
...Guy really does get along well with giant women. He even managed to charm Blue Diamond a little. Now I'm wondering if he ever met Opal. There's a pretty amusing little comic out there showing a young Greg being briefly smitten with Opal until he notices the Pearl and the Amethyst on her while Rose tells him Opal is their Fusion. He then drowns himself in booze trying to process how Pearl + Amethyst = Opal.
Disgusted, but not surprisedI wonder if this is part of why the show held off on Fusions for Steven and the Gems other than Amethyst. With Rose as a Broken Pedestal now, it might be the impetus for Garnet and Pearl to view Steven ever more as his own person or otherwise remove whatever might block them from the fusion

So Word of Johnston has suggested that Pearl kept Pink/Rose's secret willingly for a long time. When do you think she realized that Steven needed to know?
I don't know for sure... but I have my suspicions
◊.
@32_Footsteps: That's an interesting read of Pink Diamond. Seems plausible.
@Ultimatum: Idk, someone could be cherry-picking screenshots. Alternatively, I think both Yellow and Blue's reaction to Steven's gem look the same, except Yellow looks like she's about to burst out while Blue is more collected.
@32ndfreeze: I'm also interested in seeing his reaction. I hope we spend some time on a scene of him and Steven talking.
Hmm, who do you think is going to be told first: Greg or Connie?
Speaking of Opal, she desperately needs more screen-time. Like, we know what Sugilite and Sardonyx are like, but how much do you know about Opal's personality. All I can guess is that she thinks she's awesome and likes to show off, but in doing so she often forgets about important stuff, like the reason she fused in the first place.

I think she wanted to tell him at that point. But I think the moment she realized he might need to know was in "Back to the Moon" when Steven heard about Rose shattering Pink Diamond for the first time. And the moment when she realized he definitely needed to know the truth was in "I am my Mom" when he surrendered himself to Homeworld to answer for what Rose did.
And Greg never even knew maybe that his giant woman was a gianter woman
Forever liveblogging the AvengersSo, deviating from Rose:
What are the chances we're going to see Emerald again?
I'm also curious as to what a Jade Gem might look like.
Swordplay and writing blog. Purveyor of weeaboo fightin' magic.so, I didn't read this fic,I just skipped to the end https://archiveofourown.org/works/14668113
Do you think what Pink did to Pearl would look worse if it turns out she told Greg?
It's a really short fic, one shot, I just read the end, Greg tells Steven he knew, but didn't tell anything because he thought Pearl would, he didn't knew that Pink ordered Pearl not to; Pearl hears their conversation and gets mad, seems Pink can trust Greg without forcing him not to talk while in the end she was treated as nothing but a Pearl.
I'm in the "Rose had no empathy" boat myself, because I agree that she saw everything like pets and/or lesser beings before Greg stood up to that viewpoint. And I really wish Pearl was White's and not Pink's. It would really have helped with avoiding the whole Happiness in Slavery trope. I don't think that was the Crewinverse's intention but it's definitely what it comes off as to me.
I think it's also likely that "Escapism" song that has yet to be released is probably a Pink Diamond song given this new context.
Oissu!I don't agree with her lacking empathy, she had plenty of ,but it was mostly towards her own kind, since humans are a different species entirely it shouldn't be too surprising that she found them an amusing curiosity, but she still wanted to preserve them which is evidence enough that she cared, otherwise why bother?

Thinking about it,the only person who could possible know Rose's secret would be someone especially close to her, closer then Pearl, which would logically be one the Diamonds, though there's no chance in hell that she could have told one of them, they might have started off with suspicions Rose was somehow in league with Pink Diamond, but it never crossed their mind they were the same Gem,especially if the rebels use strategies they recognise as ones they previously taught them
and then the trial happens and you recognise the cut of their Gem

Tldr:if any of the Diamonds had worked out Pink's secret identity by now it would be Yellow
