Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Well, shit.
Lmao I felt so dumb, I hadn't watched SU in a while and my mind was sort of elsewhere while watching that clip that when I saw Rose turning into Pink I was just thinking "Wait.. Rose shapeshifted into Pink? So that means the real Pink is elsewhere?"
I thought as much for 20 seconds or so before I finally got it. Doiii.

Her Gem just turned over?
Is that what that animation was?
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Except they aren't...because it's a trait that people said is specific to her while other Rose Quartz aren't acknowledged in literally any way.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Something that keeps striking me in all this is that the reveal reinforces just how much alike Steven and Rose ultimately are. Given all this it's now way to easy to imagine Rose Quartz lamenting why she never asks follow up questions.
The difference is that Steven has been maturing quite quickly over the course of the show. If Rose matured at all, which I'll not banking on since so much of the Crystal Gems' character development in general seemed to stem from Steven and Rose's in particular from Greg, it would only have been after the Gem War and corruption, and the realization of how far everything went.
That said, I'm not entirely sure Rose was ever that introspective.

What would be bad about that?
