Good for him?
@Silent: My suspicion is that white was more involved in things that we're lead to believe, but tends to work behind the scenes rather than overtly. I think Pearl was a gift from her to Pink Diamond, hence the gem position, and I also suspect White already knows what happened to Pink, and may have known since the start of the rebellion, if my theory about Pearl being an unwitting mole for her is correct.

so this is a horrifying theory with an odd amount of merit
(based on spoilers of the most recent episodes)

Read my stories!Agreed. I feel a lot of people who are mad are jumping conclusions. Assuming certain things when we don't really have a clear timeline of all the events. I would wait at last the next episode or two (as they seem to be going to address things) before passing any big judgments.
Yeah. As far I know this whole thing is based on a remark Sugar made about Garnet characterization. But I don't think she was being literal.
We only have that one interaction from Know Your Fusion, which could mean anything tbh.
Garnet: I can’t.
Pearl: Right…

Read my stories!Yeah. I don't think it's a guaranteed theory but like... it makes a good point. Because that trait for Garnet is a bit odd to have so strictly. Someone who chooses not to ask questions would just say "I don't ask questions."
Read my stories!I feel like Rose literally telling Garnet to never question anything, and forcing her to do so would raise flags very quickly.
Plus, it wasn't just "no questions". She was specifically telling Garnet not to question her existence, and that, well, has very real applications to life. I don't see that as the kind of thing the writers would intentionally apply something so...unsavory.

About the spoiler thing. Is anyone who hasn't seen the episodes popping in here every other minute, knowing that basically everything is a spoiler? I'm seriously asking. If you haven't seen the episode but keep following every post, instead of just waiting till you've seen the episode and then catch up, I'd like to know.
How many episodes do we have left this season?

WD has to be a fusion at this point. Its seriously straining my suspension of disbelief that she's an actual entity and yet she can't be bothered with anything. She's clearly not aloof enough to not have participated in the war
No, you couldn't be more wrong - it's perfectly believable. Her mural shows that she has conquered and thus manages the most planets, in addition to Homeworld itself. Why would someone that powerful and busy be bothered with what's going on with just one planet, which mostly centers around Pink Diamond whom she seems to have had no close attachment to? She only intervened at the end of the war because, even if she didn't have any feelings for Pink, the shattering of a Diamond is an insult to the Diamond Authority that cannot be allowed to stand. After doing that, she went right back to doing her own thing as the Greater-Scope Villain of this story's universe. Nothing that has transpired thusfar has been significant enough for an all-powerful ruler of many worlds like her to step in, it's all Yellow and Blue's problem due to their emotions toward Pink.
However, learning that a member of the Diamond Authority did all that Pink did and is now incarnated as Steven....THAT could very well warrant her attention, so I definitely expect to see her by the season finale.

8 more episodes.

I'm pretty sure we will. In addition to the build-up to it with the structure on Homeworld and then the partial sighting of her in Garnet's flashback, look at the official Season 5 poster
, and note the shape above Yellow and Blue. It's the shape of White Diamond's head. I am almost certain she's going to show up in the finale.

At the time? Maybe not. Pearl certainly learned about it since, though.
Yeah. The usual policy is to just tag for a page or so, right? Right now it seems weird.
It is odd that we haven't seen any White Diamond. I'm hoping they give a good enough reason for her absence, particularly at the trial.
I remember someone on this thread vehemently argued that the reason Pearl never shape-shifted anymore, was because of a traumatic shape-shifting experience in the past, namely the shattering of Pink Diamond. And now we see that he was basically right.

regarding Jasper and how she might react to Rose's true idenity, I wonder if that self-esteem PSA is subtle (but bizzare) foreshadowing of potential character arcs?

Also, we now know that idea for the Cluster was for 100% sure AFTER Pink's death, because if it was from before that point then Rose would have known about it.
Also, it now occurs to me that we have never actually seen a Rose Quartz gem. Outside of the bubble room I mean. All gems of the same type share a voice actor, and when gems shape-shift they keep their voices, but would a real Rose Quartz be voiced by Susan Egan, even though that voice was already used for Pink?
> Susan Egan, even though that voice was already used for Pink?
Possibly,follows a theme after all.
Also, someone on reddit pointed out that if Pink is good at making convincing shards then there's a possibly that the Rose Gems in the zoo are fakes, and the real ones are concealed in
wait for it
The chest inside Lion's mane!
have a listen and have a link to my discord serverI think the jungle moon episode coming first helps us piece together Pink's train of thought
There's only a colony on Earth because she whined for one, Blue and Yellow are only involved because Pink seemed incapable of dealing with a revolution on her own, clearly her momsisters don't care about her because of the tone they take with her and the stuff they say, therefore if Pink was taken out of the picture, they'd have no reason to stick around and would gladly wash their hands of the while debacle being as Earth was only intended to appease a whining child
It was the perfect crime
With one slight hitch
