More in touch with her emotions maybe?
I dunno how to describe it (and I might not have the language to put my thoughts into english), but I've always seen Peridot as the fastest gem to learn the finer details of how humans feel and percieve things.
She is highly insensitive when she doesn't care, yet at the same time highly empathetic and quick to understand.

Peridot has low intuition but is quick to accumulate experiences and learn from it, imo.
Read my stories!@sgamer82 I think that after finding out Steven is pink Diamond Peridot might actually put Steven on a pedestal and think even higher of him. it would be an interesting contrast to Sapphire, and Steven being as humble as he is, and knowing what he knows about Pink Diamond now, would probably have none of it.

i wonder if Steven will undergo a change of appearance ,like he realises since he's son of a Diamond his gem should Gem change to match Pink's also,he might unlock more of his shapeshifting powers since the incorrect knowledge that he was a rose quartz could have effectively served as a blocker
have a listen and have a link to my discord serverAnyway; did Yellow and Blue take control of the colony? I keep seeing that. I interpreted Blue's lines as meaning that the rebellion was too small to be dangerous and that Pink's gems could finish the colony without any real guidance. All Pink had to do was show up to work.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.![]()
[[spoilersWell, depending on the timeline, they kinda have to after Pink was "shattered". Unless they sent their corruption attack in the immediate aftermath. But from what we have seen the fight continued at last for a short while after that, so I am assuming the Diamonds took over in the meanwhile.]]
But, no, before that I don't think they did. They did make clear that backing off was not an option, though. I've seem people say that Pink could have ended the war if she only revealed herself, as if she was the only one driving the war from both sides. But the flashback in Can't Go Back implies just the opposite. The Diamonds would take over if Pink decided to back off for real.

I'm guessing that Blue and Yellow's arcs will be resolved together, due to the fact that they're both the ones involved with the Rebellion and the following events (the Cluster, the Trial, ect.)
White's absence from all of this is suspicious. She was seemingly uninvolved with the initial rebellion; Pink doesn't even mention her when deciding to run away. Apparently only bothering when Pink was apparently shattered. She didn't do anything with the Trial. A total Orcus on His Throne.

Yeah, not sure how that is in question. I mean, I guess it was only shown in a flashbacknote , which haven't been always the most reliable, but the sudden change in art style is telling. It is the only part of that flashback in the usual style, so I am confident it is meant to be taken literally.
Btw, remember the hologram scene in Rose's Scabbard, all back in season one. Given what we know now, I guess in the actual even it was 'Pink', not 'Rose' to whom Pearl was talking to. Pearl just showed Rose for Steven's benefit.
Lapis will 100% come back, eventually. Probably in a very dramatic fashion.

Re: the hologram scene, I'm actually of the idea that it happened after Pink's staged death, but before the final battle for Earth. Rose's more melancholy tone there (compared to her interaction with Pearl before the assassination) came from realizing that the other Diamonds weren't backing down, and offering Pearl one last chance to back out (at that point, HW still didn't know about their double life, so she could escape safely with none the wiser).
Hmmm, yeah, that make sense as well.

Not sure. Maybe neither. Maybe she will just realize that her entire motivation is bogus since the beginning and just be drained out without a life purpose. Might be an interesting thing to develop. I really hope she doesn't actually is redeemed solely based on that, though. It would send a very weird message, I think. At any rate, she will be really conflicted about the whole ordeal.
Speaking of weird messages, I really hope Pearl was not original Pink Diamond's pearl. That would make their relationship even more fucked up than it already is. And make it so Pearl never actually rebelled truly, only continued to follow her master until she couldn't anymore. I want to believe Pearl started to follow Pink/Rose on her own, not because she was ordered to.

If nothing else, that was Jasper's whole "The Reason You Suck" Speech to "Rose"/Steven, that she only ever took in Gems at their absolute lowest point and earned their Undying Loyalty because she made them feel valued when they were at their worst.
Am I the only one surprised that there isn't a Ho Yay folder for Pearl and Rose?
That is because for them it is canon. Ho Yay is supposed to be about fandom seeing things that may or may not have been put there intentionally.

I suppose the point is supposed to be she thought they wouldn't care enough about her to do anything. That's sad for multiple reasons.
