have a listen and have a link to my discord serverTriple posting,I know,it's frowned upon but I thought this was interesting
So I spotted something interesting ,the South American Steven Universe channel did a reaction video
to the unaired new episodes A pale Rose/Can't go back]]
They're really going for 'it's going to be as dramatic as a Mexican Soap opera reveal, hmmm.

It is designed to dissipate Hard Light bodies so it might not need as much weight as a human made blade.

A sword's cutting power comes more from the leverage applied during the slash/thrust than the momentum of the sword on impact. (Also, gem bodies are much more durable than human ones.)
Real swords are, but Rose's sword is incredibly wide (even accounting for how illustration exaggerates swords' widths for the sake of visibility). That's before getting into how it's designed for someone twice Connie's height.
I'm just gonna assume it's a similar weight to a regular-sized sword, given how quickly Connie was able to use it.
On a related note, I wonder if Bismuth would think it's weird that her best sword is being used by a "meatball".

> Sometime I wonder: Is Rose's sword made of some material that makes it way lighter than it looks, or has Connie just gotten that freakishly strong?
Reminds me of post I read where someone suggested Steven's tears as well fixing her eyesight had given her super strength.
Anyway.since the topic is Rose's sword..
While Bismuth was making the sword she probably had to do tests so it worked and poofed gems every time without fail,,it would make sense to me if in one instance the blade shattered a Diamond as a result of not including them in the equation since Bismuth had no way of knowing how it would effect a Diamond

Starting the next part of TCC.
