Broken Base in all shows, Randomness is assuming...

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.> why would Lapis expect the same?
I don't think she'd expect it if she mentioned she was from Earth,I imagine they'd have to be accommodating if she said she was stopping by on her way to Homeworld
I'd be interested in seeing a Malachite fusion with one of the zoo jaspers or Skinny Jasper ,though that's unlikely
As for occasional visits by one of the Diamonds,i'd figure they don't happen often enough that Lapis would be at risk discovered,at most they could mention that a Lapis visited them but she's not a fugitive so they're not really looking for her

have a listen and have a link to my discord serverWhen she flew off at the end of "Ocean Gem," I mean, at less than light speed it would take thousands of years to get anywhere. People often say that she used a warp pad at the moon base, because it's the only thing that makes sense. I can't think of any other way she could get anywhere at the speeds she did.
She may have used a Galaxy Warp to save some time, but there's no way there's one on the moon—Homeworld would have used such a thing several times by this point. And I can't see why they would go to the trouble of making another in this solar system when Earth had one, and that was already the most convenient location.
It's pretty obvious Lapis can go FTL, even if she's not as fast as the gravity-driven Era 2 ships.
> I like the idea there's a spaceship on the moon somewhere.
I suppose it's always possible she used the Diamond communicator at the Moonbase to request a ship, though Lapis flying a ship is an entertaining image, along with Lapis flying back to Homeworld at lightspeed through sheer determination!

The main computer is smashed and the communicater blew up.
I could see Lapis heading to the moonbase to check if the computer had any knowledge of nearby planets she could hide out on, not knowing that it's busted.
And the idea of Lapis flying a ship at the speeds she normally goes is pretty funny.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢I suspect Lapis is just going to hide out on Mars or an asteroid. Some place where she can be alone and probably unnoticed, and still some place where she could be easily called back in by the writers if they feel it's time to use her again. Also, Mars or the asteroid belt are locations that Lapis knows aren't controlled by Homeworld and aren't on their radar (since Homeworld presumably would have started terraforming them if they were usable).
Of course... it wouldn't totally surprise me if, in Steven Universe, there did use to be a planet between Mars and Jupiter, and it turns out that the asteroid belt is the remnants of a planet that was completely stripped of resources by gems. It would even potentially give greater urgency to Rose Quartz for starting the rebellion - she may have already seen one planet in this solar system destroyed by Homeworld, and she didn't want to see that happen to Earth as well.

Anyhow, while this is more of a background question than anything else, but what forms the bulk of Homeworld's military forces? Rubies seem like the obvious choice, but it seems odd that the base foot soldier would be used for the various missions we've seen Rubies on (bodyguarding, small strike team). I suppose that Citrines (based on what Emerald said in "Lars of the Stars" about the numbers that the Off Colors were able to deal with) may make sense.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. The bulk of their armed forces will be Amethysts and Jaspers given that's what came out of the Prime and Beta Kindergartens, the Citrines are probably Yellow Diamond's equivalent to Elite Mooks
have a listen and have a link to my discord server@53267 Maybe it's just me, but I thought Amethysts were exclusively produced on Earth (similar to Rose Quartzes). Though in general, I did get the impression that quartzes in general were one type of special forces.
@53268 Mostly, I doubt Rubies are foot soldiers because the skillsets to which they were applied are a bit different from the ones you'd want for the jobs they were assigned. Of course, there is admittedly the argument that they may just have been assigned poorly.

I have meme idea. Steven asks Garnet a Broken Base question and she's unable to answer and breaks into Ruby and Sapphire. Has this ever done before?
