kinda, I prefer the peridot episode with the kindergarden, seen her talk that way show how used she have become used to earth and her life, it kinda show why she want to fight homeworld so much.
Gemcation on the other hand really annoy me because how everyone thinks steven is afect by homeworld as it should be but no, is about connie...which dosent matter because the talk and that it.
Yeah, so far the best of that bomb was peridot growing up and Kevin Being delightfully dickish as always.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"![]()
"The Working Dead" would like to say hello.
There always were episodes that combined human stuff and Gem stuff, but they were kinda one off-ish and didn't really affect or involve the main plot, unlike "Dewey Wins" or "Sadie Killer".
Yes. All of this.

RATINGS TIME!
The Amazing World of Gumball: 1,229,000 (0.28) Unikitty: 1,157,000 (0.28) We Bare Bears: 1,100,000 (0.29) Steven Universe: 1,108,000 (0.34)
These ratings are freakin' awesome! See what happens when you dont leak the episodes CN?
As long as this flower is in my heart. My Strength will flow without end.@ultimatum and @thatother1dude, thanks for explaining the releases of the episodes.
While watching Lapis leave all I could think was that she will probably be back AS the Diamonds are attacking Earth because Conscience Makes You Go Back... unless that's actually too predictable?
Pretty sure that whenever she and Peridot reunite either way will result in them fusing. I'm more or less indifferent to their ship, but it'll still be pretty fun to see it.
I hope we'll return to more dance numbers for the fusions though, lately it seems that every time two characters fuse, all they have to do is hold hands or hug. I get that it symbolises the two character's minds being well synched (and Steven and Amethyst's fusion hug was adorable), but the dancing was still part of the fun and I just hope we'll see more of it.
(Would totally love to see Garnet and Peridot dance again if Peri finally took Garnet up on her offer).

quoting myself from earlier in the thread:
EDIT: The episode acts like its on his side there. Certainly like its on Connie's side. Which, if is not what they intended, they failed to get that across to me, which is a failure.

It's possible to be sympathetic to more than one opinion. I understood where Steven and Dewey were coming from in that episode, but that doesn't mean that Connie's feelings (or Nanafu's speech at the end) where wrong.
And you honestly kind of lose me at saying he show "tries to legitimize Connie's feelings" as if they're something completely alien or irrational.

That's the type of thing that would usually accomplish something significant...
But outside of character growth, it did not...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Do you know how many other shows wish they had "filler" episodes dedicated to relationship drama and character development? You will watch those episodes, young man, and you will watch all of them! There are bland anime in Japan who could've used those character-centric filler episodes. But you got them, so you get what you get and you don't throw a fit!

It is, but nothing else was gained...
Steven didn't learn nuts to nothing, so it wasn't even worth...

"Dewey Wins" and especially "Sadie Killer" are examples of townie episodes done well. It seems the Gem episodes and the townie episodes are finally starting to merge together.
It took too long for that. But maybe seeing Lars of the Stars is only satisfying after so long of him being not that. And it isn't as if some of the townie episodes are good in there own right.
Most importantly, it is to show what the Crystal Gems are protecting, and what Homeworld will destroy. Look at how different Beach City humans are to Pink's pets, who've essentially been brainwashed and conditioned into overgrown, unimaginative children.
