I don't think Gems have entirely programmed personalities. Rose didn't rebel because of her programming, but because of her experiences and personality. I could also see rebellions happening now and then. After all, they do have gem poofing tech. It was just that the Crystal Gems managed to not instantly be destroyed and gained traction.
You know, I could easily see Pink initially refusing help in stopping the rebellion, in an effort to prove herself. By the time the other Diamonds stepped in, the rebellion was too large.
So you never see Emerald completely, eh?
Just her nice face?
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I still headcanon her as a tiny Beryl using camera tricks to look big.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.I first pictured Stevonnie as a Luigi, but she's actually a Yoshi...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. The way Rose resembles her creator makes me think Pink took the 'made in their image thing ' literally instead of figuratively, but I wonder why,was she so determined to prove herself that she made an overpowered gem thinking it would impress the others? Or was it ego thing,in that she saw the Rose gems as the perfect reflection of herself?
So many questions!
