I wonder if Stevonnie staying fused for as long as they do (it appeared to be for days even) will eventually cause them to become their own person separate from Steven and Connie like what usually happens to a lasting fusion (i.e. Garnet and Sugilite)? Unless next episode starts right off with the two having unfused, it would have been interesting to have it addressed, and possibly even feel a bit weird if they don't when that is previously shown to happen to those fusing for too long. The answer might simply be that it's different for a half-human/human fusion, but again, would be interesting if pointed out.
He level ground off screen. Its fine.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersIt was clear the Off Colors would be doing a lot of stuff off-screen. The two directions to go with that are implying little of consequence happened and an overabundance of things happened. The show leaned into the latter in a really over the top way.
There's gonna be some major confrontation by the season's end, which probably has the Diamonds personally involved, but I'm not sure if Emerald's pursuit of the Off Colors will cause it so directly.
The chair size alone makes me think Pink Diamond really was way smaller than Yellow and Blue, but I'm not assuming that's important. Even though gems are ageless, their sizes and appearances generally reflect age and maturity. If there's any reason she's smaller, it'd probably be less of a plot point and more of a justification for the visual of Yellow Diamond looking down at her.
I'm glad Lars still has a whiny side. Just before the episodes released I saw someone complaining that it was lazy writing to develop a character off screen, as in Lars developing from a bratty teen to daring man between episodes, but "Lars of the stars" shows that he's still the same guy, even as he did become more mature, he's still a teenager.

I think it was a combination of calling her bluff, and reducing the options Emerald had available. With shields down, presumably she could only refrain from attacking, outright destroy the vessel, or tip her hand and try to inflict as minimal damage as possible.

Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenI don't think you can really say "no effort". We only heard from second hand, which could be easily exaggeration. Of course, even if it did take some effort it was still impressive. But Lars had the upper hand of being an aliens and Homeworld clearly has no idea to how deal with aliens. We saw that in Jail Break too, their technology is useless against non gems, and the Off Colors exploited that to the max.
Also, maybe Lars can teleport by yelling. I mean, Lion can do it. That would help getting around.
I know I might be harping a bit on how much I hate that the "Rose is Pink Diamond" thing just won't die, but I figure I'll post this and see what anyone has to say on it:
Look, if it turns out Pink Diamond wasn't shattered, then the whole bit of moral ambiguity that Rose has would be lost. That's kind of a big fuckin' deal. If they just say "Nope, she didn't kill anyone, she just went from a spoiled little brat who wanted to colonize a planet to a rebel against her people", then what the hell was the point of showing how imperfect Rose was? And then that just opens some questions: everyone so far has identified Steven as Rose by his gem, so wouldn't Pink Diamond have a different gem cut than Rose? Why did they put in Yellow possibly having a part in Pink's death? How could Jasper not recognize the gem of her own diamond?

Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?A new theory is that YD was involved but didn't intend PD to be shattered just taught a lesson
Since she seems like she might be that sort
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI think there resemblance might also be to indicate they have similar powers. People have pointed out Pink's hair is the same shade as Lars' and Lion's mane.
Which reminds me that we still don't know if Homeworld thinks Lars is an alien or an off color gem.

that would imply that only roses and diamonds can have the drive to not be mindless drones

i guess you can watch me shitpost i guess

I'm pretty sure the Gem in the bubble is a Pink Topaz. The Lighthouse Gem has a similar face to Topaz, but from another angle she had the diamond cut. Thus I think a Topaz is more likely and less likely to bring in plot holes.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.
