Gems seem to only use clothes for the sake of appearance, because there's little they'd need clothes for protection against. Except other gems' attacks, but they still don't bother with armor for some reason.
Makes me wonder if a Homeworld gem would recognize a human in a covering getuplike a as a human in a suit, some kind of alien life in a suit, or think the suit is their actual body.
But Rosey has quite the armor hoard...

They look like they're from a bunch of different eras, especially if it really is human armor. Could have just been some humans Rose knew.
Either way, it's a weird detail that's been subject to some speculation, but it's also minor enough that I don't really expect a clear answer.
How? That's the thing Pearl was explaining in "Frybo"...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I had a dream about SU last night bwhich was mostly incoherent brain farts but some Gems were trying to convince Steven (played by me) that Gems have a barber who cuts their hair. Hehe
Creator of Heroes of Thantopolis: http://heroesofthantopolis.com/Also, regarding gems and clothes, didn't Pearl have a spacesuit? Was that just a different manifestation, or was that a distinct outfit?
That said, I also remember Peridot's initial confusion when she saw clothes, so that's one of the things that the show seems inconsistent about. That said, it's a pretty minor thing all told.

I tend to think Peridot was exaggerating when she said pearls just stood around. Yellow Pearl is basically Yellow Diamond's secretary/assistant, which certainly isn't a position of power, but it's arguably pretty important.
Even then, a pearl being allowed to pilot a ship, even just as a chauffeur, seems unlikely. Even if their owner thought they could do it, whoever they work for could consider akin to driving without a license or reckless endangerment.

Looks like we have a release date for Save The Light.
October 31st for PS 4 and November 3rd for Xbox.
Oh really when?

"Dewey Wins" won't air for 2-3 months, which I think is the farthest before the premier a preview has officially gone online (barring accidents like the "Super Watermelon Island" clip on CN UK).
I'm almost expecting/hoping for just this one to be watchable on VOD/the website several weeks early, like "Stuck Together" was.
