Is that Sarcasm Mode?
I really need to learn how to decipher anagrams...
Good song nonetheless.

I wouldn't think too hard about a statement like that...
It's definitely meant to be take at face surface level.

I actually thought it was an even more satisfying development than Peridot's character arc. I mean, Peridot's cool and all; but I want a Lars of the Stars spin-off so badly.
The only time I've ever seen character development this good was in Avatar or Buffy/Angel (which I'm still not done with yet).

Really? The statement in reference seems pretty straight...
Humans can get more interesting, only one thing needs to happen...get captured by the HW gems...
Just like what happened to Larson the donut boy...

How about just interacting with Gems in general? The biggest problem with the human side characters is that they only interact with Steven (except Ronaldo who's just terrible). I get that it's supposed to show that Steven has two lives (and two parts of himself), but Greg and Connie are great characters partly because they each have their own unique relationships with the Gems.
I always thought the leaks were intentional, anyway?

Not all of them. Stuff like Hit The Diamond airing in France or Out of This World being released early were intentional, but things like those "two minute previews" and the screencaps were always leaks not released by Cartoon Network.

Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢Before the abductions, it's a short list of the times gems besides Steven and humans besides Greg or Connie acknowledged each other:
- Most of "Beach Party", which feels weird in hindsight, as it seems like the gem and human plots have gotten even more divorced from each other since.
- The gems talked with Mr and Dr Maheswaran about parenting in "Fusion Cuisine".
- The Cool Kids giving Amethyst and Steven a ride in "On the Run".
- Garnet's talk with Jamie at the end of "Love Letters"
- The Cool Kids sticking up for Steven and then partying with the Crystal Gems via montage in "Joy Ride".
- Amethyst and Vidalia reuniting in "Onion Friend".
- The portrayed meeting of Captain Dewey with that unknown Crystal Gems fusion, plus Mayor Dewey thanking Pearl for her play re-write, in "Historical Friction".
- Amethyst and Peridot talked to Smiley a few time in "Too Short to Ride".
- Amethyst trying to get free donuts from Sadie by disguising herself as Lars in "Crack the Whip".
- Buddy's various encounters with the gems in "Buddy's Book".
- Pearl finally talking to Mystery Girl in "Last One Out of Beach City".
- Garnet smiling for her picture in "Onion Gang".
- The few scenes in "Gem Harvest" where Andy and the gems interacted directly instead of using Steven or Greg as a medium. Most notably the "We're very sorry for your marriage." bit.
- Some of the Amethyst guards trying to console the Zoomans in "The Zoo"
- Lapis and Peridot running the car wash in "The New Crystal Gems".
And this doesn't technically count as "acknowledging each other" (since it was inherently one-way), but I just remembered Sadie saw Rose's video to Steven with him.
So another guide/side book, Fusion for Beginners and Experts, has been announced for December
. It's being made by Rebecca Sugar and Angie Wang (one of the show's FX artists), so I can't quite tell if this is supposed to be more text/screenshot based like Guide to the Crystal Gems or more like a graphic novel.

I deliberately left "Onion Trade" out because they didn't acknowledge each other. The gems even completely ignore Onion once the wand was broken, despite him almost killing several people; for all they cared, he could be some dog chewing on the wand.
Granted, looking again, I forgot that Garnet did tell Onion to give it back, which Onion responded to by shooting them with Dave G.U.Y.S.
Do you think Gems would be subject to Fantastic Racism from other sci-fi empires? If so, which races can you see disparaging them? And how would Gems react to it?
