This year's fan zine was release at the con. I would post it here, but there's one pic that might be a reference to something big in a future episode. Or not. As is,
we're talking about it in the spoiler thread
.

Personally, I kind of raised an eyebrow while reading the artbook, but also recognized it as a Lamar Abrams drawing, and mostly in line with his regular artstyle.
Either way, I still don't think it's right to dismiss offhand, and glad for both of their comments.

The soundtrack release is open for pre-orders.
This includes some of the "Stronger than You"/"Love Like You" singles that were left over from SDCC.

Gems change their appearance slightly over time. My guess is that Garnet kept her initial form for a time considered short for a gem, but much, much longer than Stevonnie's been around.
Gem clothes are of the bodysuit variety mostly. Not a good way to layer it, I guess?
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThere's also the matter of what was happening at the time of that first fusion. Steven & Connie were playing, dancing, and having a good time. Ruby and Sapphire were in the midst of a crisis, both having every expectation of being poofed as Sapphire had foreseen it and Ruby was on the process of Taking the Bullet. That has to have had an influence on how the fusion turned out.
Going back to the outcome of The Trial because some stuff has occurred to me had it turned out differently, had a hypothetical scenario in mind.
- If they hadn't hijacked the palanquin and waited around while the Diamonds were arguing they would have eventually resumed the trial
- Since Steven's testimony did not match up at all then they might correctly guess that they were not trying Rose, but a convincing imposter
- Steven admits he's not Rose, but her son,cue horrified looks from both Diamonds because they know gems don't have offspring unless..
- Steven then explains that Rose gave her up physical form for him, making him a gem hybrid
I figure that at some point the diamonds will eventually discover his hybrid status, either from the trial's outcome or from some other major event that's coming.

have a listen and have a link to my discord serverHere's something from SDCC that's not a spoiler: comments about and more boards about "the Shield Episode" discussed in the artbook: an episode that only made to the storyboard phase before being replaced with "Gem Glow".
They point out that Pearl being the only Crystal Gem that we ever see driving is a holdover from a cut concept featured in this episode.
Back in July 2015, 52 quarter-hour episodes were greenlit. Back then it's what they called season three, and season two was supposed to be the same length. Then, in early 2016, they reorganized things: season two became seasons two and three, season three became seasons four and five. Season four was 24 episodes, one of which was a half hour, and shorts that total a quarter-hour.
That leaves 26 episodes for season five, four of which have aired already.
So, while how episodes were divided among the seasons was subject to change, the total number greenlit has been the same for the last two years.
