Since they don't have a strict time limit like Steven and Lars had when they first got on Homeworld, there are plenty of ways for them to get off. Most of them involve hijacking a ship or reaching Homeworld's Galaxy Warp (which can't bring them right to Earth, but could bring them somewhere less closer or less dangerous).
Of course, Thinking Up Portals would be a tremendously useful tool for people trying to get around unnoticed, even if the range is "only" a couple hundred thousand miles.
> Calling it now, Lars is going to learn to teleport like Lion and that's how he'll get back to earth
I feel like Lars will get captured but will use the portal so the off colours can escape to Earth,Rule of Drama and all that
or
Lars opens a portal and unwittingly leads their pursuers to Earth

OK,here's something I hadn't considered before but the shattering robonoids they sent after the Off Colours are automated drones but what they're seeing in the Homeworld kindergarten is possibly being relayed to a control room somewhere, although the first time I saw them I pictured Yellow controlling them from afar with a joystick

have a listen and have a link to my discord serverLars was fine on Homeworld too. And it's not just the air, but also the gravity, temperature, electromagnetic radiation, and I can't even count how many other things.
As I pointed out before, it's a pretty blatant example of All Planets Are Earth-Like—it was explicitly shown gems could live in nearly any environment (they only use atmosphere to talk, they don't need water or food, they are very durable, they automatically adjust for varying gravity), but by complete coincidence Homeworld happened to be humanly inhabitable anyway—at least in the short term.
Much like the show's use of Aliens Speaking English, it's absurd, but they choose to play it totally straight instead of wasting screentime (or drawing attention to the issue) with an Handwave. Honestly, I'm just glad they made the lack of food and water an issue.

I figure Homeworld is just where the Gems evolved/were created/whatever. And for that reason, they need a planet with similar atmosphere to grow new Gems.
Hence, Earth. Hence also why humans can survive if taken to Homeworld.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThey speak English because it's more convenient than making up an entirely new language just for the setting.
The next cartoon that has aliens should just make the aliens speak Pig Latin instead of a straight Common Tongue as a joke towards those people who ask why they speak English.

The characters still lead to speaking English...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.> Also, Humans probably speak English because the Gems taught them to.
I don't think the occupying gems were nice enough to do that, then again you have Yellowtail speaking in an unknown language, and Onion spoke to Topaz in the same way,so maybe there's a link

Check out my art if you notice.I'll say it before and I'll say it again: any attempts to explain why there are Aliens Speaking English would be a grade-A Voodoo Shark. None of the usual explanations (Translation Convention, Translator Microbes, Common Tongue) hold water. Even if they did, it would be
Well, besides all her "a"s looking like "r"s, it seems fine.
