On Pink Diamond, I'm sure it was Pearl, because The Butler Did It.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.On Lars: My issue with Lars is that I felt his good points weren't enough for me to overlook what a jerk he was. His stagnant character development was another problem. I actually like the idea of a character that doesn't learn to not be a jerk in just one episode, but throughout the first season, it seems like none of the attempts at developing him stuck. And after being almost for most of season 2, "The New Lars" made him seem worse than ever, showing us that his parents are afraid of him, the Cool Kids don't like him that much, and Sadie doesn't trust him to be sincere.
I enjoyed his depiction in these last few episodes because his character development finally stuck. At the same time, the fact that it happened right before he was Put on a Bus makes it feel less meaningful than it should have been.
@randomness4: The show need not introduce a concept before people start theorizing around it.
@The Handle: Ooh, I hadn't noticed that trope applied. Nice.
Basically, back around 2012 someone at CN decided to change the standard season length from 26 episodes to 52. Then it changed back to 26 around 2015. Both grouping were applied to seasons already in production, hence why Steven Universe has one long season made from two short ones, and four short seasons made from two long ones.
>I like to imagine Lapis' being the demolition crew of Homeworld, and a group of Lapis Lazuli's lounging around, catcalling and whistling at other Gems when they pass by.
There was a theory that Lapis gems were scouts, though they could be both scouts and later terraformers
That said I'm now imagining Lapis singing about riding a wrecking ball..

have a listen and have a link to my discord serverRe: Lion. Whatever way you slice it there was no "obvious" answer to Lion. Every answer theorized, including the answer we actually got involved a new mechanic being introduced, albeit one based from an existing mechanic. We did not know that Rose's tears could resurrect organic life, and we certainly had no way of knowing that resurrected organic life would turn pink and gain the ability to access a pocket dimension through hair.
Why would arm hair work...? He's a teen...no teen would have thick enough arm hair to be a portal to a pocket dimension.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. To be fair, had he tried, the Diamonds would have likely noticed him attempting to do so.
Not to mention, Blue Zircon'd likely blame herself for accusing the Diamonds, similar to Peridot's hilarious breakdown after calling Yellow Diamond a clod, right to her face.

Reincarnation...this show hasn't introduced that concept.
