I think Pink want to do peace and make a talk to rose or maybe she went to see her sisters to discuss Rose action and rose intercept it.
I feel Rose shatter pink dimond in self defense or something when wrong.
I think he said because so far Rose just murder pink rather fight with her.
The Ruby brought into trial called Rosey a war criminal as well...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Usually the branding of 'war criminal' happens once the war is over and the winning side wants the punish the leaders of losing side further, since they probably view the whole rebellion as a war crime, that would make Rose a war criminal for any number of actions she committed.
have a listen and have a link to my discord serverSo after finally getting to see Homeworld, Steven interacting with the Diamonds and introducing so many new Gems in such a short amount of time, it made me think back to the show's earlier days, and what my expectations were back then. I'd like to know, are there any plots you wanted to see happen, or things you thought would be important that ended up not being?
It stood out to me that while we got to hear a lot about what Rose meant to Pearl and Amethyst, we never got a clear idea of what Rose and Garnet's relationship was like. I thought that might come up at some point, perhaps revealing that Garnet wasn't quite as close to her, and was more aware of her flaws than the others were. By this point, I think it's safe to say that whatever their exact relationship was, it's not important to the overall dynamic of the Crystal Gems.
I sometimes wondered if any of the artifacts the Gems gathered early in the show would come into play, but most of them haven't been seen since they were acquired.
Why would they come into play? They aren't important, they were for HW installation.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Rose was definitely important to Garnet, probably just not the same way she was for the others. Amethyst and Pearl frankly used Rose as a crutch, were as Garnet just by the nature of her situation and existence, didn't need her for that.
If they do go any deeper into that relationship (a bit unlikely not, but not impossible) I'd image it would be more like a legit friendship than nonreciprocating object of affection/maternal figure she is for Pearl and Amethyst, respectively.
Speaking of, has anyone noticed that the show has never really done much with the Alternate History aspect of it? I wonder if that was something that was decided early on in the show's production, and the writers had intended to do something with it, but then just never did.
I mean looking back to when she thought baby Sour Cream was Greg's kid, it's pretty easy to see that as her not seeing any problem in Greg doing the same.
@50221 Well, typically, killing is fair game, such as it is, during war during an explicit battle. Killing outside of a battle is usually considered a war crime. That said, beyond the fact that there's hair-splitting over what counts as a battle in Real Life (are bombing campaigns technically a battle?), there's also the fact that a completely alien culture might just define what constitutes a "war crime" as "whatever they don't like" - like a cultural version of a Self-Serving Memory. What Homeworld considers a "war crime" might have been just a standard battle/raid to our eyes.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster."nonreciprocating object of affection/maternal figure"
There's nothing showing that Rose doesn't love Pearl and Amethyst very, very dearly. Or that she didn't depend on them emotionally on some level.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

Strictly? I very much doubt it, but Steven seems to be using the term "war crime" the way most people use the word "murder", without regards towards it's actual legal definition.
To most people murder is just any killing that they don't find (morally) justifiable. To Steven, killing anyone isn't justifiable, and it happened during a war, so it's a war crime.
