Oh God. If this is in real time.... Peridot's going to have a freakout.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing. Why people said peridot and amatheyst have something? I mean sure Lapis and peridot kinda show out of nowhere(and between diferent writers....) but I dont see anything with amatheyst.
" And Garnet is just a wee bit self-idealising, so it wouldn't strike me as that out-of-character for her to make things out to be more black and white than they are."
I thing blue order her death because it was rose: the murder of her sister manage to got away because some weird ruby decide to do something some day
not that blue is correct but her reason is more "that murder is gone BECAUSE OF YOU!" rather tha "Har,har, har die little worm!"
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"The Peridot gem worshipped Amethyst...but not anymore.
There's probably a reason why.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Since Yellow's court is largely concerned with the military I imagine her agates would be a mixture of Drill Sergeant Nasty and Veteran Instructor.
edit:But I don't think they're all as bad Holly Blue, although it's tempting to reach that conclusion since she's the only Agate we've seen so far

have a listen and have a link to my discord serverCan we totally blame Holly Blue though? She's been stuck supervising a small army of gems all almost exactly like our Amethyst for thousands of years. It'll probably turn out she was Reassigned to Antarctica.
@49594, @49595 To be fair, there's humor value in wrecking the timing to fit in the more precise wording. If you imagine @49593 delivering it as The Comically Serious, it's pretty funny.
@49598 Someone got way into "Camp Pining Hearts."
@49602 It comes from the episodes following Peridot's capture - starting from "Catch and Release" and extending to, oh, around "Message Received," you can see a lot of Peridot apparently having a thing for Amethyst ("Too Far" is the one where it's basically the central aspect to the episode). You can kinda see traces of it subsequent to that episode, too (if you think about it, there's a reason why it's Amethyst and Steven there in the setup for "Beta"), but it's pretty clear that Peridot has been shifting to just considering Amethyst a good friend.
@49605 I mean, who knows? I can guess that @49606 is right in terms of the job that Yellow Diamond's agates would do, but if you're asking about personality... I could see anything from The Neidermeyer (which Holly Blue certainly had shades of), a gruff A Mother To Her Women, a meek person who hides a total lack of self-esteem under a ton of shouting, or something else completely.

Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.
Would love if that's the case with Peridot. We need more stories about friendships that start as crushes but are gotten over and turn into strong but purely platonic friendships. People in real life do and should move on. Especially in anime, where you have all these characters (usually female) who pine forever and ever and it's treated as something cute or admirable instead of frequently unhealthy.
