So I had a thought today about what Rebecca Sugar could potentially do after Steven Universe ends. Given two of her contemporaries, JG Quintel and Alex Hirsch, are apparently working on adult cartoons for TBS and Fox respectively, I'd like to think that she could potentially follow in that mold and make something for an adult audience as well.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Aivi & Surrashu are doing their live reveal of the soundtrack on the Steven Universe Facebook page. I'm not reactivating a Facebook account I never use, so I'll just have to wait for it to be reposted elsewhere.
EDIT: The recorded version is available to everyone.

Most people figure that Greg's original last name being "DeMayo" was in reference to the show's animation director, Nick DeMayo. According to Aivi & Surrashu, this was specifically because Nick DeMayo was in a band called Jade in the 1980s—Greg's rockstar look was based on his, while "Comet" took inspiration from one of their songs. That's also why Greg's guitar has "Jader" written on it.

As far as I can tell, the soundtrack has all the lyrical music from the first four seasons, except "Do or Do Nut", the Li'l Butler theme, the song from the "Steven's Song Time" short, and some really short ones.
The soundtrack goes on sale June 2, and can be pre-ordered tomorrow. It's currently digital-only, but there was a vague statement to listen for something later this year.
Another development tidbit: They spent about as long writing "Love Like You" as the show spent revealing it to the viewers—about three years. In a classic case of discovery writing, they had one plan for what the song would be like, but used a completely different one. That's probably why it takes such a darker turn after the first verse.
I still see it as Rose's theme. The full version of the song is played right when the audience is forced to confront the moral complexities of Rose as a character.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Curious, before I start a discussion -
Has "Stuck Together" been aired yet? It's on streaming services, but I didn't want to discuss it here if it hasn't hit broadcast yet.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Ah, thanks. I guess they put it on streaming sites to hype up "Wanted." I'll take it to the spoiler thread.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Going back a few pages to answer BlueBlaze64's questions
I think what made Earth so special was the fact that the planet could support the creation such a vast number of Kindergartens(86 in total) as well how they could efficiently use all the remaining resources.I imagine planets with resources are quickly harvested and a few Kindergartens are set up but, with Earth they could harvest it's resources and pump out gems for ages.
What I'd really like to know is what they've done to the other planets in the solar system, and whether they tried to colonise those worlds before discovering the rich resources of Earth.

have a listen and have a link to my discord serverWith one exception– Agates are a type of quartz, but Holly Blue is (probably) not an Earthling. Your point still stands, regardless.
Every other kind of gem that's a quartz in real life (amethyst, rose quartz, jasper, carnelian) is specified to be a quartz type. Why would agates the exception?
Also, it's still not clear if Rose, or any of the other Rose Quartzes, were made on Earth. There's Bismuth's "made right here in the dirt" line (which need not be literal), but also numerous indications that Rose was around before Earth had any a Kindergartens.
So I just realized, if the fourth season's cliffhanger has you struggling to wait the couple weeks until Wanted, keep this in mind:
Foreign broadcasts often license a whole season at once and air every episode in succession, but then have a long break until they can license the next season. So there are probably several countries where the season four finale and season five premier will be many months apart.
When Steven returns from Homeworld, Connie will kiss him, and this song will play
.

I'm assuming Navy got to Homeworld, made her report but got promptly ignored because she didn't tell them anything they didn't already know
Or she's on a space adventure with the other rubies.
