Oh. I must've blinked, 'cause it looked like the first place he checked was the Big Donut.

A: Lars was psyching himself up before going in, got captured by our silhouetted snatchers, and the ube either fell in the trash by coincidence, or one of them threw it in there for whatever reason.
B: Lars actually did chicken out at the last second, threw the ube in the trash, and got kidnapped while he was walking home.

I liked this episode. It had some nice Lars and Sadie development. I wonder if it will lead to some eventual resolvement of their current relationship, one way or the other. But I think theirs is different from most Will They or Won't They? dynamics, in that this one actually has some valid reasons for them not being together, as opposed to them just not being able to communicate to save their lives.
Plus, Sadie's cheek scar is my favorite Continuity Nod in this show.
As for those silhouette characters, they seem to be going for a Brains and Brawn dynamic (visually at least). I wonder if the show will flip it and have the tiny one with the wings be the enforcer while the big one is the smart one.

Oh boy. I can't wait to see how Lars disappoints me yet again by being a trash man.
